Went last night for the first time and each had a bowl. They were fantastic! So fresh and delicious 🤩
Eating a lemongrass pork bahn mi by the river, pretty stellar. Bread is crunchy on the edges and soft in the middle, meat has a great char and the spice level is great. Liking the jicama slaw too. I only waited 5min. I highly recommend this spot!

Love their sandwiches! Lemon grass pork with everything on it is my favorite. Always so delicious, sweet, spicy, crunchy, amazing bread, tender meat. . . Thanks for working so hard and bringing Bend great food at great prices. Love the new location.

Service was quick and employees were very knowledgeable about their vegan options and how to prepare their tempeh and tofu. Great spot and I will be back!
Consistently great food!

Peanut tofu is so crispy and flavorful. Really great meal.
Tried out the ginger chicken bahn mi and was impressed! Great flavor and loved the crunch of the veggies. The chicken has a little kick but tasted great. Also pretty decent price for a quick lunch! Only thing I would change is the bread - typically a more crusty baguette with the soft/chewy inside.
Came for lunch earlier this week. Ordered a lemon grass Bahn mi. The flavors of the Bahn mi were really good, the bread left a lot to be desired. I have family that owns a successful Bahn Mi restaurant in China Town in Boston, and the one thing that makes or breaks Bahn mi for me, is the bread. The crunchy French baguette is essential to the true Bahn mi experience. Dinky Dau's bread was soft and untoasted, it felt more like a hoagie roll than Bahn mi bread. I really wanted to like this place more as Bend is really lacking more ethnic food options. I am willing to try it again in the future and hope that they can find a new way to prepare the bread.
Highly recommend. Short wait times and a surprising amount of high quality food for the price. Had the brown rice bowl with pork and would definitely get again.
Delicious take out Vietnamese lunch. We had the rice bowls with chicken and the tofu. The slaw, kimchi and papaya salad are really good-cold, crisp, and seasoned perfectly. They're tucked away kitty corner from the post office downtown. Heads up only open 11-3 Monday thru Thurs but worth it for a quick bite while you're downtown.
