We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, which set a positive tone. Unfortunately, the service at the bar was disappointing. We waited over an hour for just three plates of ham and cheese, only to find out that our order hadn’t been taken properly. While we did receive the plates for free as compensation, it was too late to enjoy them with the rather expensive bottle of Pinot Noir we had ordered. Additionally, the service lacked warmth and attentiveness, which further detracted from the experience.

Second time to this location, and this was even better than the first time which I gave high praises. Our waiter, the sommelier, was very knowledgeable and polite. It was slow so we were able to enjoy conversation with several staff. We enjoyed the oysters on the half shell, and the Summer Vegetable Risotto. AMAZING! One of the most beautiful dishes ever presented to me. If I was in town for another day, I'd go back and order again.
Compliments to the chef!

I am a longtime fan of Domaine Serene, but this was my first time in the bend location. I brought a group of friends from Texas to introduce them to my favorite PNW Pinot. We were all blown away by the wines, the attentive service, the beautiful menu, and unexpectedly, the insanely cool ambience. From the hidden speakeasy in the basement to the original exposed beams in the elevated club area. It goes way beyond the anticipated wine experience. I will always go back.

Let's start with the least bad: the taste-free salad. It would have been overpriced at free.

Now let's move to the quote service, end quote. After waiting for the length of a quarter of a football game, my tiny cheese plate finally arrived. When I suggested this was at least ten minutes more than I expect to wait for a simple cheese plate, I was told that that was an establishment where people spend $4000 for a meal--"and they don't care how long it takes."

I guess I needed to spend more than the $145 I spent for a flight of wine, a tasteless salad, and a cheese plate with perhaps $3 worth of cheese to receive service that might get me back home before midnight,.

Avoid this pretentious and self-important place. And this advice too you is coming from the man who, if Googled, is described as "the world's leading authority on delivering and marketing a service," yet was told by his server that, well, she knows best.

It was okay, but disappointed that they have salmon on there website as an entree and then when we got there they said they no longer make it. I felt the menu was a disappointment. Won’t return.

We visited here for our anniversary and had the best time. The person who helped us, Sarah, was so awesome and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

We went here for our one year anniversary and it was a night to remember. We were greeted at the door with smiling faces and felt taken care of from the moment we stepped foot inside to when we left afterwards. The food was very delicious and the wine selection was vast. The entire staff was welcoming and fun to be around but our waiter named Steve stood out the most. Steve went above and beyond for our dining experience and genuinely seemed like he enjoyed what he does. I wish every restaurant had a Steve. We will definitely be making our way back to Domaine Serene in Bend!

Without a doubt, the most disappointing service I've ever encountered. As "Golden Eagle" members, we planned my bachelorette party at their Dundee winery, with assurances that we could redeem our 3K points for food. However, upon receiving the bill, they reneged on their promise. This incident followed a series of mishaps in Bend, Oregon, where they botched food orders for my dress fitting and wedding planner meetings. Despite giving them a final chance at my bachelorette party, we decided to cancel our membership due to their consistent failures, including abruptly canceling our membership without warning. Two years later, I'm finally leaving this long overdue review. My husband and I recently had an outstanding experience at Willamette Valley Vineyards and promptly joined their membership club. Their service, food, and overall experience far surpassed our expectations, all for a lower cost. It's disappointing that Domaine Serene, where my husband used to work at a near by winery and admired the owners, has fallen short. Your staff's behavior does not align with your purported values, and at the very least, we deserve a refund of our points.

Just what Downtown needs, another soulless wine bar that caters to tourists. What a downgrade from the cute local businesses that have been there since that block was built. If you’re looking for the antique store that was here, it moved to the corner of Greenwood and 1st!
