My grandson grew up in San Diego.. went to mexican restaurants in Tijuana …he moved here iver a decade ago, so he is always on hunt for real mexican cooking. I delivered a Caifornia burrito ( dry ) to him at work…he made a point to send me a text saying ..Gabino has the real stuff.. I asked if as good as Tacos el Gordo in San Ysidro …yep was his answer..Gabinos makes the real stuff…thank you
Online ordered a California burrito for pickup. Their Cali burrito doesn’t come with guac, which for someone who lived in San Diego is blasphemy for a Cali burrito. So I paid an extra $3.50 for that and sour cream in my burrito, but was disappointed to find neither in my burrito when I got home. I submitted an online complaint through whatever system they use for online orders, but never heard back.

I don't know how anyone could say the portion sizes are small, for the price or otherwise. Huge burrito, very filling and flavorful.
From the time I placed the order to the time I was back to my place eating it was under 10 minutes.
Staff was pleasant in the short interaction while I was picking up the order.
Solid joint, I'd love to come back next time I'm in Bend.
