4 Best Donuts in Bend

“Went in to grab 1 donut for breakfast and walked out with a whole box the variety was great and the girl behind the counter was very nice she explained what certain items were with a smile on her face and Imo the best fonuts I've found in Bend, absolutely fresh and delicious. I will be back in.“

“Had a customer from Portland come visit my team and brought us in a couple dozen donuts. I am not a fan of donuts but had a sweet tooth that morning and cut one in 1/2 to have with a cup of coffee. Holy Hannah, the texture, the flavor, this heavenly pastry was Delicious!! The customer didn't know the name of the donut shop he purchased them from so I researched on google to find which donut shop had the photos posted of the boxes that these tasty morsels came in and found Delish!! What a great name, so fitting!!

Delish isn't on my way to work, about 15-20 min out of route from work so I don't travel on Highway 97 (in between Macy's and Hobby Lobby), before heading in. This morning however, I woke up a little earlier to get my team some donuts and stopped on by. I met Julie who is the owner and told her my story and how I needed to stop by to pick up some of their donuts!! What a sweet, nice hard working lady. Been in business for 15 years, survived during Covid crisis, and are still thriving! Gotta be doing something right!!

I will HIGHLY suggest Delish to anyone if they are looking for a sweet treat! Even if you're like me and aren't a fan, you will be and you won't be disappointed!! Keep up the excellent work Julie (and family)! :) Thanks for the sweet, sweets!“

Both donuts were great!

Stopped in to try Bends infamous Sweetheart Donuts!

Today I ordered:

Chocolate Bavarian Custard Filled Heart for $3.12

I was excited to see that the donut is actually in the shape of a heart!
The downfall was that this was not a fresh donut,
Meaning that it was not soft it was tough to bite into like it was a day or so old. I was also no impressed that the bavarian cream was only in the upper side pockets of the hearts. I was expecting it to be jam packed full bavarian cream.
My suggestion would be to add more into the center of the heart going in from the point to fill it or even where the heart crease.
Due to the ration bing off I didn't eat most of the donut.

Seasonal Carmel Apple Filled $2.86
The same thing with this donut it was not a fresh donut. It was a tough to bite into as well. I will say though that it had an amazing taste to it which offset the toughness of the fought.

Experience within the establishment:

I was expecting hot fresh donuts as I was there right at opening yet none of the donuts where warm.

There was not the sweet aroma that you would smell when walking into a donut shop after they just made donuts.

The person behind the counter was stocking setting up the shop when I walked in.

Overall the experience was great the donuts are lacking as they are not fresh.
