Absolutely amazing. Carlos Anthony you rock. My husband's 71st birthday,we ordered the meat platter and it was perfection. Our server Dimitri was amazing. The prices are totally reasonable and the food was fantastic.

I told them I was gf and they were all helpful. Loved the steak frites, fries are cooked in tallow, fun atmosphere, seems more low key and local on a Sunday evening. Didn't realize they have happy hour every day from 4pm-5pm, will be back for a bunless burger for $10, fries for $5 and they have gf lava cake that's amazing. We've never found parking in their lot, always in the lot by the liquor store nextdoor and a short walk over. Across the street there is a sign that people can park there after 6pm so another option as long as you're parking after 6pm.

Service, vibe, music, food, and drinks were all on point. Steak is a must and we enjoyed every bite. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Pricy and al.a.cart
$70 Filet Mignon sides and spaces are extra. Only comes with a pile of saute onions.
Steak was delicious, price tag a little high.

We celebrated an employee hitting a milestone at work with a special dinner at HHL. This restaurant has a great western vibe and the customer service is always great💯 I like the way the menu is arranged as you pick a main course and the sides are shareable. This creates a very welcoming and engaging dinner, kinda like a short western Thanksgiving. The drinks were great and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend checking out this 💎 on the Westside. Ye-hah!

We came here at the recommendation of a friend who used to live in Bend. This place reminded me of Austin, TX — it feels big: high ceilings, strings of lights spanning the entire restaurant, large safari tents with groups of energetic diners having a great time inside. It's loud but in a way that gets you excited to be there. The men's room wallpaper alone is worth popping in for.

The menu is straight forward. It has enough options for any type of diner and is a great family style opportunity. All of the servers we interacted with were stellar. Super friendly and attentive.

(Side note: somehow everyone that works there is low key also kinda hot)

We ordered a sirloin (excellent), the Oregon trout which was AMAZING with the fries and a roasted veggie medley as a side. It was all really, really good. I enjoyed a couple mocktails with dinner and those were great as well, although they could be a little less sweet.

Overall we we were really happy with our dinner and if we end up back in Bend again would likely come back, if for no other reason than to sit in any of the other unique seating arrangements.

Such a fun original atmosphere with exceptional food options! We will be back. Came on a girls night and we each got a app, steak, and side then shared and had plenty of food and we each took food home also. Definitely a place you go when you have a little extra to spend not somewhere you go on a regular basis, I mean.. unless you got it like that. Haha

Great atmosphere but crap service and the price didn't match the taste at all. My $70 steak tasted like charcoal on the outside and raw in the middle when I ordered medium rare.

Had dinner here for a birthday. Five stars is not enough, everything was over the top amazing. From every single employee, to the atmosphere, service, food quality, drinks, music, design and decor, the list goes on and on, was perfect. Definitely will be back and would recommend to anyone. 10/10.

So disappointing. Our table of 4 had 8 different items (steaks, salmon, wedge salad, caesar, grilled veg, heirloom tomato side, and beet side) and literally the tomato side & beets were the only two things we thought were tasty. Salmon was over cooked. Medium filet was still cool inside, almost blue rare, and had a very strong smoke flavor (not what you expect on a $75 steak). The quality of ribeyes was really poor. The meat was hard to cut and very tough, and the flavor was obviously a low quality cut.
Side of grilled veggies came floating in tin tomato sauce, not even edible. Salad dressing on wedges and Caesar had a very strong lemon base and fake bacon crumbles. For $200 a couple, what a disappointment. The crowd definitely isn't there for the food.

Excellent food, great atmosphere.

What really sets a restaurant apart isn’t when everything goes perfectly—it’s how they handle things when they don’t. We had a small issue during our meal, and Casey and the team went above and beyond to make it right. Their attentiveness and genuine care turned the experience into a fantastic evening. Thank you
