I have been a fan of Ida’s since the original shop on Galveston opened. I always buy the cupcakes (minis and large gourmet) for holidays (decorated accordingly). They are always a hit with family/friends. Favorite flavor cake? Chocolate, of course! Especially delish with the chocolate chips in the batter.
Ida’s Cupcakes has always been my favorite bakery in town, but they recently did our wedding cake and it was truly heaven. I have celiac disease so I was always nervous about my wedding day but Ida’s had no problem making me the most beautiful 3 tier wedding cake, entirely gluten free! They made over one hundred STUNNING cupcakes with floral and succulent frosting decor, and even did a special off-menu flavor request. The personal cake for the bride and groom was soooo cute. I didnt try that one but I’m sure it was great 😉every guest kept saying how awesome the cupcakes looked and tasted.
