Excellent hamburger and fries - but that original clam chowder! We ordered more to go and found it just as good reheated. Definitely appreciated the dog-friendly menu and service but dang it was cold on that patio. Not your fault. Thx for the friendly service to two fresh-in-town out-of-towners.

The ahi tuna tacos and fish/chips were excellent menu choices for lunch! Service was friendly and relaxed. Definitely dog friendly!

I’ve had J-Dub twice now. The food is great! I think they have the best Philly Cheesesteak in town. The meat is so flavorful and it’s so good. My friend enjoyed the doughnut burger. We have also tried to fried pickles which are so yummy and I don’t even like pickles. They are a bit spicy so they need some ranch dip. The soft shell crab has a good flavor, the coating is delicious. The crab itself is gooey and strange, plus the shell on is different. If you are a fan of soft shell crab though, they are super yummy. I’m excited to try some different menu items, if I can convince myself to not order the cheesesteak!

Might of went on an off night so take it with the grain of salt but definitely will not be returning. Burger was sub bar at best it was a cheep frozen patty that tasted like a patty I used to get at a school cafeteria. Server forgot to add an extra patty then when I told him I did not get it and did not want to be charged for it, he said yeah I forgot to add that… and then charged me for it! When I walked in my gut told me to turn around and walk out and I wish I would have listened to it. Not trying to talk bad about the establishment but 4.5 stars is very in accurate for the service, quality of food and atmosphere that I experienced dining with JDub.

Leaving 1-star.. Ordered the Lobster Roll and could tell something was off. The meat tasted very much like imitation crab meat. When we asked the server she seemed surprised but said they’d ask the kitchen. The final result was a “1/2 lobster meat & 1/2 imitation crab meat” (there wasn’t an ounce of lobster meat on the sandwich). The server as a result said they would comp the meal. The bill came and it was a $12 off of the stated $20. The reason for the limited reduction by the Manager was that “I ate part of the sandwich”. Really poor customer service.
Bigger picture issue that people need to be aware of.. The menu does not list imitation crab meat at all. The restaurant is running a scam here which could result in someone getting sick from unstated food ingredients. Really not impressed and will not be coming back.

We went out of our way to leave a cash tip with our server direct and complimented her as the "manager" was completely out of line. The sale came with freshly grilled chicken. Not the microwaved tough chicken you get most places. No croutons by request. Great service. Sat outside on a lovely evening.
