The waitress wasn't friendly. She brought my pizza, which was alright, without even asking if I wanted/needed napkins. Never checked on me again and was on her phone the whole time. Go across the street to Deschutes.

Smaller location downtown, no frills and solid beer. Different vibe than other Bend breweries, same quality beer. Felt like there was something for everyone.

We had a great time here with the siblings after Christmas. Nice atmosphere with a good variety of well priced beers, liquor, and non alcoholic drinks and an excellent board game selection. My brothers enjoyed the food, but unfortunately the vegan options were slim. We had good French fries though!

Great food and beer !!! The bar tender was great company (Cru). We will be back. Walking downtown and past this place twice, tonight we decided to give it a try, best pizza we've had in Bend. Enjoy and thanks !!!

This is one of the coziest brewery pubs in town. The beer selection is great, food is delicious, staff is both down-to-earth and courteous (they'll joke with you without ignoring you or making it seem like a pain to get you another beer or a homemade hot pocket). Also, Wednesday trivia night is one of the best in town. Not chaotic or neurotic, just plain fun and quick (2hrs max). Come on down at 7pm so my team can beat yours!

So kid friendly! We've been bringing our littles in since the early days and we never feel out of place. Appreciate this as young parents. Always enough room and fast service. Delicious beer and fries too, what more can you ask for?

One of my favorite breweries/pubs I found in town. Their beer was rock solid and they offered a decent variety of styles. The staff were super inviting and friendly. It's such a quaint little spot that gives a very relaxed & laid back vibe that speaks to your inner fantasy genre nerd. For sure worth having a few beers here.

We went in yesterday afternoon and then again in the evening. We had a great experience the first time. The guys were welcoming and friendly. The pretzel was very good! We played card games and had a great time. Unfortunately in the evening, the woman who was serving was very rude and unfriendly. She was short with us and acted like we were putting her out. In what should be a friendly and fun atmosphere, she made it uncomfortable. I'm giving two stars only because our first experience was good...otherwise I'd give one star.

Great Beers!!! Great Food!!! Great Service!!! Love the Ambiance of this place!!! Definitely better than across the street!!! The Sandwich that I had (made by Jared) was gone before he walked away. The Beer was truly exquisite. I definitely recommend the darker beers produced by this one in a kind brewery in Central Oregon!!!!

The Good- Really cool place that made me feel at home right away. I just walked over, hung my keys from the goblin claw on the wall, and started sampling grogs (see video).

Fun place! Always love supporting the nerdy community. Pizza and fries were really good. Loved the house sauce! Great beer too.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! I had the opportunity to meet the manager this evening and he is the sweetest! They truly have the most genuine employees and the best food. The beer variety is immaculate and I would 100% come here again! COME TO KOBOLD!

What a delight of a brew pub sitting in the heart of downtown Bend. To start, their wide selection of beer had me honestly a bit nervous at first. Wanting to get a true taste of this brewers technique seemed a bit daunting through a single flight. But with a few recommendations from the bartender at the time, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this brewery can cover a wide array of styles very well while still having their own personal character to each one.The food options were simple, from cold sandwiches to pizzas and some small side items. Having tried the sandwiches, they were a step above just your average cold cut stacker. So it was nice to see there was a good amount of care in their few items, making any choice a good one.Kobold Brewing is certainly going somewhere should they push the envelope and branch out further into the market. A daunting task for any small brewer, but I certainly will be cheering them on.
