Watershed Coffee Roasters (formerly Looney Bean Bend) is a favorite coffee spot in town with awesome views and GF pastries. The space is a fairly large open cafe with outdoor seating in the backyard facing the river, which is really peaceful and pleasant. The staff is very welcoming, kind, personable, friendly, and helpful. Service is excellent, and orders come out in great timing even when busy. The ordering process is very easy. The outdoor seating feels homey like a backyard with grass overlooking beautiful nature. There is a beautiful garden with views to the canal. The menu includes a good selection of food, such as an Ocean roll from Sparrow, premade savory breakfast options, and pastries. Specific items mentioned include the berry smoothie, which was excellent, and the best almond croissant on the North American continent. Espresso drinks are great, and the Killer Bee is recommended. A vegan doughnut, maple glazed, was very nice, though the chai latte is not vegan. The location is excellent, right on the River next to the trail and parks.
