Meltz Extreme Grilled Cheese

The Bend OR location was a let down compared to the original in Coeur d'Alene. I would rather drive farther for the quality of the original location. The flavor of the sandwiches did not compare to the Coeur d'Alene location, the churros were undercooked, and one sandwich was missing an ingredient of the filling for one of the classic sandwiches they offee. If your wanting to expeirence the best of Meltz take the trip to Coeur d'Alene. We will not visit this location again. Very disappointed.

Absolutely amazing, food was delicious and filling. I also came here for my 18th birthday and one of the employees gave me a complimentary churros for it without us even mentioning it. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Their chips too are simply divine. They will ALWAYS have me as a loyal customer and I highly suggest people to go to them too.

FANTASTICALLY DELICIOUS! You gotta Try this place, and Quick! The pre-planned sammies are delicious, or you can Completely craft your own—how cool is that? The hub and I shared the extreme kettle chips with blue cheese dipping sauce and it’s an explosion in your mouth, super yummm. Next we shared the Caprese sando and it was surprisingly Light with crispy toasted bread, and just as flavorful as can be. Friendly staff and both inside/outside dining options. Highly recommend for a quick delicious lunch spot! Parking is easy around the corner, either towards the new Costco or Pet Smart.

Super mediocre. I ordered their “award winning” potsticker Meltz and was utterly underwhelmed. I spruced it up a bit by adding my own sriracha mayo. The chips and dip were tasty, but the portion size for a $5 dip is pathetic. Totally not worth the hefty price tag. This was an office order and my coworker also said the Turkey Bacon Jammin was meh. And my neighbor also said when he went the Rooben was mediocre as well. 100% not worth the price.

A half sandwich is quite a large serving, and really greasy.

I wish... I could leave a review... higher than 5 stars. The gentleman, Terry, who graced the lobby, delivered the *finest* service I've ever encountered in my life. You may think my words drip with sarcasm... but I tell you now, I was genuinely *thrilled* by the level of care at this modest yet exquisite establishment.

As we waited for our humble carryout order, Terry—nay, a guardian angel of hospitality—brought forth fresh, hot chips, still sizzling from the fryer, *for free*. Yes, you heard me... FOR FREE. I was stunned, shocked, in awe of such a rare act of kindness.

We watched as he served the surrounding tables with the same grace and dedication. We, mere travelers from Bellingham, Washington, now wish—*no, long*—to pack both Meltz and Terry into our luggage, to carry this unmatched experience with us forever.

In all seriousness, this was a meal to remember. Not only for the quality and freshness of the food but for the sheer warmth and generosity of the workers. I can only say... go. Experience it for yourself."

Great food. Got buzzing brisket. Very good. They had the best fresh chips and an artichoke dip. Also f'in great. Someone greeted us as we came in, nice guy. Eat here, you will love it if you like awesome cheese sandwiches.
