Food and service are outstanding! It is extremely noisy in the restaurant, but we did have a large party that was especially loud when we were there. Had a lovely experience either way.
Incredible authentic Italian food with outstanding service. The scallops appetizer is really good and as having traveled in Tuscany and sampled Wild Boar Ragu from dozens of restaurants the dish at Salute is as good as any in Italy! The wine list is excellent and the owner is well versed in finding the right choice for you. In fact, when he could have sold us the most expensive bottle he selected a modestly priced and excellent Tuscan wine because it was the right bottle for...
Friendly servers. Big wine list for bottles of wine. No beer on menu, although I see they serve it at happy hour. Nice to have several choices of salads. Food pretty good. Pasta good, cooked al dente, veal meatballs were good, pasta sauce a bit bland. Dessert list with lots of options. Blackberries were not fresh in the dessert, a no-no and should have been noticed by chef or serving staff , and should not have been served with the dessert, but the dessert itself was quite good....
