Unique. Order/pay here counter, complete with a plastic number, like a Wendy's or something, but with an upper-middle scale sports bar atmosphere. Priced like a sit-down chain restaurant, but the food is unique and delicious. Fries are like curly potato wedges, fresh veggies look like they're all freshly hand sliced, the brioche bun on the chicken sandwiches are soft and fluffy, the clam chowder side is very savory - more like a bacon and potato chowder with clams rather than a clam chowder with potato and bacon. It was all very delicious.

I buy a lot of burgers. They’re one of my favorite foods, and I am an appreciator of a quality burger. I frequently buy burgers that cost upwards of $30. None of them hold a candle to the mushroom blu burger I got here. It was the first burger in a long time that feels like it was truly worth the price at $18.

It was damn near perfect. THICK sliced bacon, perfectly cooked mushrooms, better blu cheese than usual for a burger, and two patties cooked to perfection. I like a burger patty with some pink in it, and that’s a rare (no pun intended) thing to find nowadays. When I got it, it was DRIPPING with grease. Not for everyone, but that’s what I’m looking for from a burger. The only thing I think could have been better (and to be clear, this wasn’t a problem, just personal preference) would have been to have one big patty instead of two smaller ones. That’s just how I like my burgers. The bun - brioche. Any burger connoisseur knows that’s the only real option for a truly top tier burger. With so much grease, the bun never stood a chance. But it wasn’t the classic “instant mush disappointment” I’ve come to expect at burger restaurants. It fought hard. It succeeded where lesser buns wouldn’t have, and against greater odds. In short, it held together just long enough for me to glug it down my gullet.

The fries were excellent too. Imagine if someone started selectively breeding the best potato chips with the best French fries years ago. After generations of striving for unreachable perfection, this is the outcome. A thick, flat French fry, tapering on one end. Crunchy at the thinner parts and soft and crispy where it matters. Add to that a healthy seasoning with a blend of spices that must have (I can think of no other explanation) been created by God and Satan in a devilishly virtuous collaboration. Fry sauce is pretty hard to mess up, and That Guy didn’t. A bomb sauce to go with some bomb fries and a bomb burger.

Now let’s get to portions. I’m a man who can eat a lot. My chipotle burritos are the size of an infant you’d find in your average maternity ward (to be clear, I do not eat babies.) Usually when I eat out, I get two entrees. And yet, That Guy filled me up! I had to turn down a bite of my buddy’s tri tip Philly (not a classic Philly, but a dastardly delight nonetheless). I even had a couple fry-chips left on my plate at the end!

All in all, this was a gastronomical orgy for the ages. I almost wish my tongue had never tasted such perfection, as all other $18 burgers will now disappoint me. Because I know what’s possible. What could have been. And could be.

Flavors are great. Food is seasoned well. Happy with the portion sizes. What could definitely use some TLC is the employees' communication & sense of urgency. 40 minute wait time for a pizza & pastrami filly (only one burger on the flat top and one order of fries were in front of mine). The pizza sat for 15 minutes before the filly was wrapped up. Sat there quietly and respectfully while waiting, only to have the guy make eye contact and set my food on the counter with no words exchanged. I've been a 19 y/o before too, but damn child get some home training. Sometimes having too many cooks can ironically lessen efficiency. Props to the owner though, the food's great.

This is the best food I've had in oregon. We ordered the pastrami filly w/ grilled veggies, shrimp tacos, and chicken for the kids. Everything was soooooo good! Usually there is at least one thing i can think of for improvement at any restaurant i go to, and i had zero for this place. The pastrami was served on pita (yum), had a delicious jelly like sauce and creamy sauce and crunchy pickles. The grilled veg was so fresh and crunchy. I like how all the veg was shredded so you could eat it all together like a salad. The shrimp tacos were **chef's kiss* and even the kids chicken was so good. Perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. Fries were golden and crispy. The cashier and owner? were so nice and helpful and very appreciative of my husband's compliments. Also, the playlist was bangin. My only complaint is that they dont have a location close to where i live ?

Just passing through Bend to get supplies. Was hungry and wasn't disappointed. I got the shrimp tacos, and the homie got a crispy chicken sammich. The food was excellent. The service was great. Lastly, thank you for accommodating my service dog.
10/10 recommend.
