My wife and I absolutely love this place. It reminds me of some of the great neighborhood spots of Chicago. There is no shortage of great, mouth-watering, small and local eateries across the city’s neighborhoods; Chicken Shanty could fit right in. I always order the Western Chicken Sandwich with fries. The. BEST. FRIES. Also the Ranch is the best house-made ranch in Bend. Thanks so much you guys! We love you!

Food and service was amazing. The entire family enjoyed it thoroughly. I recommend the Nashville hot chicken. Wife also got a coconut breaded chicken which was a really good and a nice option if you down like spice. We are a sauce couple and they have a ton of option. House made ranch which is a pillar of a good chicken restaurant. plus another 10 or so sauces. voodoo is also a good option.

So delicious! I had the coconut chicken strips with fries, peanut sauce and house made ranch and they were amazing. The chicken was so fresh and not overly battered or greasy. My kids demolished the chicken “nuggs” and loved the strawberry lemonades.
Best chicken in town sure! It’s a daily mental battle having this right around the corner from my work! Super consistent and friendly staff! I can never not add smackin fries to go along with my sandwhich , worth every dollar

Visited this restaurant this evening just as orders were piling up. It took a little longer than expected to get our food. However, it was definitely worth the wait. The Crispy Chicken sandwich was outstanding. A nice layer of pimento cheese, great chicken, and a really tasty sauce made for a really hearty eating experience. Good fries accompanied the sandwich. It’s a bit of a drive from where we live but I’d definitely go there again. To the folks that decided they didn’t want to wait, y’all missed a really good meal.

Got the hot chicken basket. Fry's were decent, but the chicken was some of the best I've ever had in my life. Service was fantastic. I'll be back for sure.
First time at a Chicken Shanty. It was so yummy. I ordered the coconut chicken and it was a great portion and so delicious! The service was great, they suggested different things and overall it was a great experience. I looked up Chicken Shanty and found there are a couple not to far away so I'll be trying another one soon.

I had came in and was greeted with a bright smile from the young person with short hair. Sadly I didn’t catch there name. I proceeded to start to order my food and they were on it. I got my food quick. Enjoyed a great meal and went to leave, as I’m leaving a get a wave while telling me good bye. Specifically due to the customer service I plan to go back again! And I hope it is the same person as the time I went in the next time I go!

Two stars because the employees are cool. But really this place is a one. 4 wraps. 20 wings. Wraps had maybe one small tender in them. With a bunch of lettuce. Probably a whole bag of shredded lettuce. The chicken had zero flavor in the wrap. The wrap and other fillings where extremly salty.
Wings are great super big and cooked perfectly. Sauces where really good. Price was good as well for the size of wings .
Very limited seating. Very uncomfortable.
Store its self. Is very small. Not very clean.
The people that work there are very nice.
All together we. We will not be recommending this to anyone or be back. This place is just another chicken joint. That doesn't stand up tot the rest. There are better spots for sure locally.

I went today for the first time and I'll start by saying the staff was very friendly and prompt. The dipping sauces were great. I ordered the chicken wrap and was underwhelmed. Chicken was very dry and, while breaded, was not crispy (I ate it less than 10 mins after ordering so I don't think it was because it was in the wrap too long). The overall flavor was good, but it was almost impossible to eat without a knife and fork. It unwrapped immediately. Also, I only had a tiny amount of chicken, so it was more of a messy salad wrap. I'll give it another chance and try the chicken strips basket and hope the chicken isn't as dry.
