I love this place but after tonight I don’t think I’ll return. We got our food and the wrap had less chicken than normal. It was mostly lettuce and that made it disappointing.. I later saw the total was higher than normal. Called back and they said they raised their prices but haven’t updated the menu yet. Which is very unprofessional to begin with. So I paid more for less food.. come on guys.

I absolutely love this place I work in the mall and get lunch at least once a week. Awesome spot great food. The specials that come threw are amazing and boneless wings are fantastic!

Chicken sandwich was pretty good, but it needs more crunch. The batter layer was soft, no crunch. The bread bun fresh tasting. 4/5
Cajun mac was good. Somehow, the chicken in this was the crunchiest of all 3 items we ordered. Overpriced imo. 3/5
The chicken wings are HORRIBLE, rubbery skin, no crunch, and taste like something out of the freezer that you put the oven. Took 20 minutes to make and the worst wings i have ever had from a restaurant. 0/5 trashcan.

I've been coming here for a while. Great place if you're looking for a burger or a basket of chicken strips. Yesterday I didn't have any money on me and one of there awesome employee offered to pay for my meal. Would definitely recommend taking your friends or family here for some battered on the spot, chicken strips and burgers!

Wow! My son introduced me to The Chicken Shanty, and I was thoroughly impressed. This family-run spot offers amazing food and top-notch service. The chicken sandwich was hands down one of the best I've ever had. It's not fast food or fine dining—just honest, great-tasting food at an excellent price. Highly recommend!

Wasn't the best. We got the chicken basket and Nashville basket. Fries were nice and crispy but the chicken had hardly any flavor. The sauces carried me through to eat the chicken. The staff and the front looked like a mess. I almost walked out as soon as I walked in. I thought the reviews seems to be high enough to try out. Definitely won't be coming back.

Stopped in and was blown away by the great food and friendly staff 10/10
I've visited this place four times, and my experiences have been hit or miss.
First Visit: Everything was excellent—the food, service, and price. I was thrilled to find a good wing spot in Bend!
Second Visit: The food was still good, but it took 30 minutes longer than the 15 minutes we were told. When I got home, I realized they had forgotten all four orders of fries. I called, and they apologized, saying we could come by to pick them up.
Third Visit: I went to pick up the missing fries, but they only gave us one small order instead of the four we were owed. We had to wait far too long for the rest.
Fourth Visit: It was a mess. I tried calling in my order, but their phone wasn’t working, so I went there in person. I paid and was told it would take about 20 minutes. Fifteen minutes later, I was informed they only had 10 wings left. I agreed to switch to boneless wings, but after waiting 65 minutes, I got home to find only boneless wings—no regular ones at all. Since boneless wings have gluten, I couldn’t eat the meal I had waited so long for.
I hope they get their act together because my first visit was really promising.

This is the best fast food chicken. Good begeeft great fresh drinks. I can stress enough how good the meals are and the fry’s are perfect better than kfc and destroys Chick-fil-A.
