It scares me how much I think about this place on a regular basis. Slightest hint of hunger setting in? Valentine’s. Lunch time approaching? Valentine’s. Where should I take my parents for lunch when they visit? Valentine’s. Valentine’s could create world peace with their sandwiches. The bread is PERFECTLY baked. Meats are the freshest I’ve had. The staff really knows what they’re doing. I know a Valentine’s Peppersteak hates to see me coming ?

You may notice they’re slightly annoyed you’ve walked in, but you’ll have one of the best sandwiches you can find in Bend. It’s kind of like that grumpy grandparent that you know really loves you deep down but they’re pretty irritated with your shenanigans. In this case the shenanigans are trying to order something during the two hours a week they’re open.

This place is delicious but 15 hours a week of open time is ridiculous. A couple of the staff members can be pretty rude as well while a few of the other ones are really nice.

Parking was a bit rough and the shop is small, so when ordering at the counter it got pretty congested with people. Thankfully the other two we were eating with got us a table inside since it’s limited seating. They did have seating outside, but with all the smoke, it wasn’t an option for us. I had the hot Italian, as did my husband. My husband got chips and a drink - our total was about $35.00. A bit expensive for what it was, but overall the food was good!
