Great local spot with lunch and dinner specials. My husband and I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp to split for an appetizer. There was enough for 4 people and we’re perfectly fried.
We usually just do take out. It's a 30 minute drive, and the food is always hot fresh and delicious by the time we get home. Great flavors. Very nice service. We absolutely love the foods here.
I've been in Brookings for 30+ yrs. Chans used to be top notch. Now you don't get certain things that are traditionally served with one another. You have to ask and , of course, pay extra. This is all fine and good but no FORTUNE COOKIE! Now... That's just un-asian. Your ancestors are probably shaking their heads in shame over a 2¢ tradition!;) And the dry noodles, so you know, are supposed to add crunch but doesn't work when you bury them ahead of time. Wait......
