My wife and I have been there three times. Highly recommend Rock Fish, salmon, and gyro. There hamburgers are incredible too! All the servers are highly attentive and pleasant. Well be back again...a wonderful experience. Each time we go back more decor. Really like how this place is transforming! Oh, and the baklava...oh my!!! Yum!!!

Staff was pleasant and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. A little pricey (Bill was $150 for two). We ordered chicken wings, 2 steaks and one alcohol beverage. The wings were the best we've ever had, tbh. Drinks were great as well. I don't want to give a bad review bc the place is new and there's room for improvement! The Steak lacked flavor, it has literally no seasoning, potatoes were a little dry. Would we go back? Absolutely.

Great food and service! I love the Greek food. They seem to have really good ideas for future decor!

I tried the gyro with lamb. So good I came back and got another the next day. I’m glad for the more restaurant approach, rather than another bar that will just change hands in another few months.

I haven't eaten there yet as I've been told the prices are quite high considering the ambiance and quality of food and service

Stopped in for an early dinner. Enjoyed the local rockfish almond encrusted pasta dish and a variety of smaller plates like the falafel and dolmas. The food was delicious and the service was warm and excellent. Stoked on the direction this place is going!

Good food, fantastic service. Really strong smoke smell. I will go back and try some more. Baklava is outstanding!

First time here and we will definitely be back. We tried the salmon dish, the rockfish pasta and the chicken fettuccine and everyone was very happy with their choices. Great flavor, large portions and exceptional service! The only negative for me was the hard metal chairs. We are hoping for seat cushions for the next dining experience, but we plan on being our own cushions just case.

As a resident of Brookings we're always excited when a new, local place opens. Sometimes we're surprised and sometimes disappointed. I had my doubts about the location. Latitudes has history and not a place my husband and I would typically frequent. I'll start with the space: you've got a bar and a wanna be fine dining goal all in the same space. It doesn't work. Separation of spaces/mood feel is needed. Food: had dolma's for appetizer. Came fried. Never had it that way but it was tasty and the sauces on the side were delicious. My burger was delicious. My husband had gyro and didn't finish it. The lamb was different than what we were used to having. Not sure what it was but didn't like it. The potatoes weren't cooked quite enough but were flavorful. Perhaps going for a more Vista Pub than an Ohollarins would serve best. And divide up the space. Want this business to succeed. We'll check back in the summer .

Well, first visit, was not a good one!! First thing when walking in was a dog walking around loose, then when chastised it took off running back through the kitchen, don't know what Oregon state health laws are??, but I don't think that's legal?? We decided Not to eat there that night!! Had one drink a left. Will say the drink was good, bartender was not the friendliest, but did pour a decent drink!! It's still just a dive bar, not a nice steak house, even has the pool tables left in there, so you have the noise of rowdy pool players while trying to eat a nice dinner?? No thanks!! An Cold, the place was so cold, everyone had to wear jackets while eating. Then, my gosh, the prices!!! Know things are going up, but 2 steak, an 2 drinks would have been about $120. + tip?? In a freezing cold place, with a dog running loose, an noisy pool players, I don't think so!!! So, don't give this new place much hope yet, will check back in a couple months, see if the place warms up any??

TLDR: The burgers were good, and we do plan to come back and give their gyros a shot. I think the place could use some more decor to enhance the pirate theme, but I love that pool is now free in the space. I craved more authenticity in the Greek dishes and hope they add an Ouzo option to the bar menu! Otherwise, I hope they continue to develop and grow from where they’ve started! We’ll definitely return to try some other dishes after they’ve been open a few more weeks.I have all the props in the world for new restaurants, it’s such an intricate dance to make a grand opening for any new business happen smoothly. Also, our waitress on Friday night was great, and very welcoming and attentive. Finally, to be clear, the restaurant seems to describe many of their dishes and apps as “Mediterranean fusion”, in addition to serving steaks and burgers— so I wasn’t expecting wholesale “authentic” Greek food by any stretch, just some fun takes on the traditional cuisine. My husband ordered one of their burgers, and I sampled their dolmas and spanakopita. He definitely enjoyed the burger, especially their choice of bun, which he said was excellent.I know that Greek food isn’t anything close to a staple cuisine in this area, but from the perspective of someone whose mothers side of the family immigrated from Greece/Macedonia in the early twentieth century, and who grew up learning to cook traditional Greek recipes, I was disappointed that the Greek dishes I tried from their menu failed to deliver primarily in terms of taste and quality—which may have been less of an issue if more attention had been paid to the dishes’ authentic roots. The spanakopita’s filling, which included tabbouleh, a Lebanese salad, was a good fusion choice that brightened up what can be a heavy filling, and I think it would have tasted very nice, if the phyllo dough had not been burned. Rather than a rich golden brown, it was dark brown and slightly blackened on the edges. The dolmas tasted as if they’d been crisped somehow in a fryer or broiler, rather than steamed, as is the traditional method. While I appreciated the fun take on the wrapping’s texture, I suspect that this alternate cooking method is the reason that the rice filling ended up feeling fairly dry and slightly undercooked. They were also quite salty compared to my experience with dolmas, both homemade and canned. It may have been better to add lemon juice to the filling instead, while cutting back on the salt, for a more savory and tangy taste. They were also served on a bed of tahini sauce, which, from a flavor profile perspective, I wouldn’t recommend. The bitterness of the tahini didn’t marry well with the saltiness of the dolmas. If they’d been paired with a traditional avgolemono (egg yolk and lemon) sauce, the mild, creamy tanginess of that sauce may have helped to counteract some of the saltiness and not produced an effect where two stronger flavors were at war with one another.I think they should also call their tzatziki sauce a whipped feta and spinach dip, instead of tzatziki. While the dip good, traditional tzatziki is often paired with stronger dishes as a cooling and refreshing dip, and rarely uses a pungent cheese like feta as a base. Since I’m familiar with the traditional yogurt and cucumber-based tzatziki, it was a bit of the shock to the palette to dip my spanakopita in it and experience such a feta-forward taste instead. Again, the dip itself was good, just unexpected. Lol.

My first visit was simple but successful! The menu looks great and I look forward to trying more. The lentil soup was hot, tasty and homemade. Service was too notch.

Went in for a look today. Looks like a bar with a lot of empty space. I will look forward to see how this place develops, but right now it just appears like a bar with a huge TV.
