Black Dog Vineyard & Winery Tasting Room

Everybody here is so friendly! We brought a dog and they were exceptionally accommodating to her (she could sit inside or outside - and they brought a bowl of water inside for her and had treats available). Great location and great staff.

Spent a lovely afternoon at this winery - the ambiance was very chill, the views were great, and Steve was a gracious host. We especially loved the white Pinot noir and bought 3 bottles to take home! Would highly recommend this winery to anyone in the area.

Its a real rarity to find a winery where you like/love, every single pour!! But rest assured, this is the place!! Very relaxed and beautiful setting!! Their Pinot Noir releases are wonderful! You are also welcome to bring in your own food too! Thank you once again, Steve, for a great and fun wine tasting experince!!! Enjoy!!!

Stopped in on a perfect sunny late April afternoon for a PNW flight and charcuterie. Sit on the upper deck, enjoy some amazing wines and soak in the view. Steve will take great care of you! 🍷

In the Willamette Valley, Pinot is the leader. However, Black Dog makes a selection of wines. This Petit Verdot is a wonderful example. The service is wonderful, the grounds are gorgeous, and the views are stunning. A great place to stop on a warm spring day (or any other day).

Heaven at the base of the beautiful vineyards! Black dog not only has delicious wines but the trendy tasting room and kind host, Steven, will have you dreaming of a relaxing vacation. We can't wait to return!

Steve was awesome and sweet.
Explained to us our different options, was a great camera man for our group photos, told us about this great pizza pin ball place we went to for lunch and honestly made a day of wine tasting so fun.
Also, the 2022 reserve was amazing.

We had the most wonderful time starting our day with Steve at Black Dog Winery. Excellent tasting with a wide selection of wines. Through our conversation with him, he helped steer us towards two more wineries later that day to complement the already fantastic wines and experience we started our day with. Our pup was also welcome inside and outside and we were able to walk through the vineyard as well Will go back the next time we are in town!

Need to charge NACS in McMinnville, then come to where you are welcomed. We had an amazing experience and made some wonderful memories. Steve made a wonderful host!!

We really enjoyed the wines at Black Dog. The White Pinot Noir was exceptional, a true standout out. Steve was very knowledgeable and we learned some new wine terms and what they mean in the wine making industry. My favorite was hang time. Love the scenery, the vineyards, setting, the choice in wines, friendly knowledgeable staff, and they are so friendly to my pug dog, Pancake!! Always take a different bottle home!!

What an incredible evening at Black Dog Vineyard! It was mine and my pups first time at the vineyard and we were welcomed with big smiles and doggy treats. This is the perfect low key hang out for dog lovers and pet parents nestled in the beautiful Willamette Valley. It’s lovely enough to dress up, or perfect for someone like me who decided to pop over after a day of romping around the farm with a bit of mud on my pants after a long day. My dog was so comfortable with places to roam, shade to sit in for naps and cozy spots all over for me too. I can’t forget to mention, my Pinot Rose was so refreshing and one of the best I’ve had. Absolutely will be back 🐾❤️
