When we arrived we were greeted at the door and seated very quickly but then a lady walks up to us and asks if we where over 21 when we said no they told us they will have to move us from the table they put us and then proceeded to put us outside while the weather is not good while several tables are open inside a younger waitress comes to our table and apologizes to us and tells us she’s sorry no one else has apologized to us and then after we paid the didn’t return my card and then we had to speak to 4 different works about finding my card they proceeded to look and ask our waitress she then looks in her pocket and tells another worker it was in her pocket returns to the back then bring me my card and proceeded to tell us that it was on the ground in the back will not be returning after terrible service and basically trying to take my credit card

One of my favorite places to eat. The staff is very friendly. Love the appetizers. Bartender makes a great cocktail. Extensive wine list. Something for

Absolutely the best food in Carlton. If you’re looking for carefully curated, mind-blowing flavors, look no further. From the tasty ceviche to the house made gnocchi to the beef tartare and the chocolate torte, everything about our meal was delicious. We both agreed this was THE best meal we’ve ever had. This place is a must visit when you come to Carlton!

OVERAL IMPRESSION – below average. Things have gone downhill from my last visit a year ago. ATMOSPHERE – the one thing I liked about this place was the ability to look into the kitchen to watch the staff work, as a result of remodeling, part of the dining room and the view into the kitchen have been removed. SPEED OF SERVICE – not impressive. FOOD – small servings with a large price don’t make this place any better. The menu has gone through some change that only adds to my disappointment. FOOD PRESTATION – ok, a bit on the boring side. STAFF – for a small restaurant, you don’t see your server much. ADDITIONAL NOTES – the cement floor and all the hard surfaces don’t make it easy to have a quiet romantic dinner for two.

Excellent!! My wife and I went here on a date night and the food and service were beyond good. We started off with oysters, a mahi mahi ceviche, and house made bread with compound butter: all excellent. The main courses were even better. The seafood risotto was cooked perfectly and full of delicious shrimp and crab. The NY strip was cooked to perfection and was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Wine was great too. And the service was superb: attentive and friendly staff with a relaxed and well timed meal. We will be back!!

Stopped in while visiting this town - I got the crab mac, my boyfriend got the house made gnocchi and we shared the bread appetizer. Everything was good. Was pleasantly surprised that the ratio of mac to crab was equal and not just a few chunks of crab here and there. We stopped in on a week night, so it wasn’t very busy and fairly quiet, so we could have good conversation. Cute place and very expensive - I am not sure I’d say the dishes should be priced as high, but I take into consideration it being a small town(?) - I mainly say this about price because we have been to Hell’s Kitchen and the Beef Wellington at Hell’s Kitchen was less than what Earth and Sea had theirs listed for and I mean…. Cmon, can’t top The Gordon Ramsay wellington!

I feel like all the 5 star reviews are fakes. This place was over priced and the service was terrible.

The food was delicious and the server went out of their way to accommodate with vegan options. I had the vegetable risotto and it was delightful. A perfect pairing with the delicious Oregon Pinot we all shared. The restaurant itself had such a warm and welcoming ambiance. We would definitely be back next time we're in the area.

The place is nice, not memorable! Food was okay, steak was chewy. Potatoes bland. The crab cake was delicious as well as the wedge salad. Expensive place! Corkage fees of $30 per bottle!! Parking is extremely hard to find as it is just street parking. The vibe is loud! Not intimate dinner as we had thought. A table of 10 was next to us and all we heard at OUR table was there cursing!! Place is clean, cute for Carlton. VERY casual atmosphere. Lack of charm.

I had a great meal. Started with a cocktail and mushroom soup. This was followed with a wonderful halibut entree and a glass of wine. The dessert was a chocolate torte to die for. It was a wonderful evening. The only thing is it gets noisy if you're seated in the back area. It's hard to hear one another. But the food is outstanding and the wait staff is wonderful.

I usually don’t leave restaurant reviews but my husband and I just had dinner here last night, and it was a real disappointment. The appetizer was good. I’ll give them that. But after appetizer it took another hour and ten minutes for our 2 entrees to make it out. And then when we got them the portions were so small that it took about 10 mins of eating slowly to finish them. My 2 venison chops had about 4 bites of meat total on them. The tiny chops were sitting on 6 green beans and small handful roasted white potato slices. A lot of money for that type of food. So if you go, eat beforehand! For the price and the wait time, definitely not worth it in my opinion.

I'm not a huge review writer but had to make time for it today to share my dining experience. This restaurant has always been our favorite for so many reasons. Food always amazing, perfect lighting and atmosphere, excellent wine list, and so on. The service we received last night from Manager - Andy and his team was beyond wonderful as it has been in the past. Andy personally spent time at our table and provided tons of knowledge to ensure we had the perfect pairings. It was my hunny's bday so I'm truly thankful for the genuine service & care. Extremely proud to have this restaurant in our community!
