What an amazing recommendation from NW Wine Shuttle and Kim. We squeezed them in and it ended up being my favorite part of the day! Spending time with Russell and the heart and story of Flaneur gave me a little bit of Paris married with delicious wine of the Willamette Valley. I cannot wait to return for food pairing and getting the most our of my new membership and reason to head to quaint Carlton from Portland as much as I can and recommending others as well as clients. Flâneur Wines offers a fantastic wine tasting experience with lovely staff and excellent hospitality. Visitors can enjoy informative tasting classes and savor the delightful truffle popcorn. The winery's Pinots and Chardonnay are described as absolutely tremendous, making it a must-visit for wine lovers. The tasting room, located in a historic grain elevator, is a very cool little space, often considered the coolest tasting room in the valley. The wines are very impressive, regarded as some of the best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir available. The cheese board features an amazing assortment of well-selected offerings, including house-made sourdough crackers and a French Brie that was to die for. The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff is warm, friendly, and engaging, working hard to make everyone feel like family. Many visitors have had their expectations exceeded, enjoying the knowledgeable service and the unique setting, making it easy to see why guests join the wine club.
