This is our favorite winery in Oregon, hands down. Kira, Lucas, and the team are exceptional. Very knowledgeable, so warm and inviting. The tasting room is gorgeous, but the outside seating is unreal. Their reserve Chardonnay is out of this world.
Let me tell you, what a great experience! So good we skipped out on a later reservation! Laurel Ridge staff and owners are so friendly, so out going, so willing to share their history with us. By far such a great experience. Great stories and amazing wine. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back!
Great wine, excellent views, and very hospitable and knowledgeable owners. You must visit this gem of a winery in the willamette valley.
Lovely spot. Kaylee was very knowledgeable about the wines, which were fabulous. Mira and Lucas were extremely helpful with a small problem we had. Great people
Our visit to Laurel Ridge Winery was one of the most memorable experiences of our Oregon wine trip. Set on a beautiful 240-acre estate in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, this second-generation, family-owned winery embodies everything that makes Oregon wine country special — authenticity, passion, and a deep respect for the land.
We were greeted warmly by Kira Teppola, who now carries on the legacy started by her father, founder David Teppola. From the moment she began sharing her family’s story — from her father’s early fascination with French wine to his pioneering belief in the Willakenzie Loam soils — we were captivated. Kira’s knowledge of the land, the vines, and the winemaking process was extraordinary. Her enthusiasm was contagious; we hung on every word and felt truly connected to the spirit of Laurel Ridge. Even the family vineyard dog, who was initially a bit cautious, became our friend by the end of the visit!
The wines were exceptional. My favorite was the 2017 Barrel Select Pinot Noir, beautifully balanced and expressive of the terroir. We enjoyed it so much we opened a bottle that very night. The next day, I couldn’t stop thinking about the bright, refreshing 2023 Sauvignon Blanc, so we went back just to buy more! Kira graciously set us up with a picnic table outside under a heat lamp so we could enjoy lunch overlooking the estate — and even poured us a little more wine “so we wouldn’t get thirsty.”
It’s rare to find a place that feels this genuine — where every glass tells a story, and every detail reflects generations of care. Laurel Ridge isn’t just a winery; it’s a living family legacy built on passion, perseverance, and love for the land.
If you’re exploring the Willamette Valley, don’t miss this place. Come for the wine, stay for the warmth of the people. We’ll be back again and again.
Amazing wine and kind workers.. if great view!!!
What an amazing experience!!! From the pairings (I love the fig spread) to the wine but most of all the service! Kailee was amzing❗️❗️❗️I stumbled upon this winery retiring from a hike… location matters. If you haven’t already, put it on your list. You won’t be disappointed 😊
We enjoyed the wine tasting, and took home several excellent wines. The service was excellent! The winery was started by a veteran, and it supports veteran events. I highly recommend their wine and wine tasting!
Very laid back and family friendly. Good view from the tasting area and the attention was great. They are trying out some different types of wine which they will let you try.
We had a reservation for a tasting and tour for 5 people at Laurel Ridge for my mother-in-law's 50th birthday. We were promptly greeted by Lucas, the wine maker for Laurel Ridge, who not only created and served amazing wine but did so with a welcoming and joyous ambiance. The tour was nothing short of amazing, demonstrating the importance of Lucas and his family members' roles. Lucas shared the history of Laurel Ridge, highlighting his father-in-law, mother-in-law and his wife, and how they established in Carlton and Bend. As someone who typically does not choose to drink red wine, I will continue to recommend Laurel Ridge Pinot noir moving forward. If you are looking for a welcoming environment to enjoy wine that is incredible, we highly recommend Laurel Ridge. To add to the experience, Jax the vineyard doggy hangs out on the property and makes the experience that much more exciting.

I discovered this delightful winery during a stay as a Harvest Host guest. The experience was nothing short of wonderful. The setting was beautiful and quiet, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I enjoyed a tasting outside, and the wines were absolutely delicious. Each sip was a testament to the quality and care that goes into their winemaking process. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Their story is truly lovely, and it added a special touch to my visit. I was so impressed that I joined their wine club, despite already having plenty of wine at home. This place is a real gem--don't miss the chance to experience it for yourself!
What a fun experience...from our lap blankets to the doggo foot warmer (thanks Jax) we felt comfy and welcomed. Highly recommend stopping by and spending some time.
this is our go to in the valley. Kira and Lucas are always great to see and love being known as 'The' :). Have been members for a couple of years now and really enjoy the wine and venue.
