Unique place to learn about how winemakers gain their experiences and connect with others with the same passion. Take the tour. Well worth it.
Had a wonderful tasting experience here. We took the grandparents and the kids, kids are welcome on the patio area. There are multiple wine makers sharing this location and the sommelier informative and helped match best wines for what we wanted. The charcuterie was plate yourself, but good options. Very relaxed atmosphere. Good mix of reds, whites, and bubbles. I didnt take enough pictures đ
I had a very enjoyable tasting here. This is the tasting room for a production facility that is shared by a number of local vintners. So you get interesting diversity in the wines and wine making on offer. Very friendly and informative. All the wines are on the pricey side though and I took off a star for that. There are a lot of excellent local wines for less. Still, Carlton Winemakers Studio was a good stop, a fun tasting, and I came away with bottles I look forward to opening and enjoying.
Amazing experience at Winemakerâs Studio today! Nick was welcoming and knowledgeable, and curated a tasting experience based on our preferences over the course of our visit. Walked away with seven bottles and a better understanding of what we look for in wine (in addition to a baseline âyumâ factor).
I also appreciated the options for gluten-free snacks!! We will absolutely be back :)
We had a wonderful tasting on a rainy Monday and our host (whose name I have already forgotten) was very knowledgeable and informative about the wide variety of wines she poured for us. This is a unique experience as they represent a wide range of wines from lesser known wineries/brands in the Willamette Valley and surrounding regions (Walla Walla & Southern Oregon). For newbies, the variety of wines being offered might be overwhelming, but for those with more experience will be thrilled (as we were) it was an amazing selection!
Lovely wine tasting room and an outdoor patio, with a great selection of small winemakers and a very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Great spot for an afternoon with friends!
Nick was fantastic and the wine selection is great
A must visit in the Willamette Valley! Our host Nick was so knowledgeable of the viniculture of the area which really helped guide the rest of our visit in the valley. Itâs great to try wines from different vintners in the same seating so you can focus on the kinds of wine you like best. Their facility is gorgeous and the newly built patio has to be seen in person to truly be appreciated. We were able to purchase some library wines even back to 2010 that would be impossible to find elsewhere. The cheese and charcuterie selections were vast and delicious. I canât say enough good things about this place.
The Carlton Wine Studio was such a great way to explore a variety of different winemakers and vintages! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and our tasting experience was wonderful.

Loved all of our wines thanks Nick for the flights hope to see you on 30a ?
Loved our time here. We unexpectedly stumbled down from the winery up the street and were all so pleasantly surprised. Lovely space and lovely employees. Highlight of our girls trip.
We had a wonderful tasting at Carlton Winemakers Studio. Ian, our host, was super knowledgeable and gracious with his time teaching us about each pour. Couldnât recommend stopping here more highly for a unique tasting experience in Willamette.
We enjoyed tasting 5 wines: two whites, a rose, and two reds, each by a different maker. Eleanor presented all with helpful descriptions of the wine and the "lineage" of the winemakers.
Crackers and a wedge of Macengo were excellent complements.
We sat on their new (still under construction) patio. It provides a cozy ambience that will be even better when complete.
So slow ?
