This establishment has changed ownership and is now Whiskey Flats, which is the original name of Cascade Locks…so cool to use that for the new name.
Today was opening day so my husband and I went to check it out. Lots of people had the same idea. The outside patio had lots of space and tables. The full trees provided nice shade on a warm afternoon. An area inside has been changed from tables to cushy sofas and chairs for a nice conversation area. Ordering went smoothly, and the food arrived in a timely manner even though they were quite busy. We had the bacon burgers and fries. The burgers were very good, the meat patty fit the size of the bun; the best we’ve had in this town! I have two suggestions; 1) upgrade the bun to a more substantial bun to partner with the meat patty, 2) upgrade the fries to fresh cut potatoes. Otherwise, Whiskey Flats is a sure success and our new hangout! We’re very happy for the upgrade in this establishment!

Relaxing atmosphere

Love this place love Shelly the owner the cook Mary and the service and food is fantastic! The bad review that was left was bologna no one has ever been treated the way that one review said . How ridiculous and silly! This bar has so many regulars because they love the place and the people in it and let's not forget the food and history! Please check it out for yourself and one more thing Shelly the owner loves kids so she welcome them like family!

Having personal experience as a restaurant and bar owner, I'm aware of the difficulties associated with reviews. The food industry is undoubtedly demanding. Nevertheless, upon meeting the owner, who successfully fulfills multiple roles, it's evident she deserves a good review!
Our meal was prepared efficiently, and the presentation was excellent. So the back of house gets 5 gold stars!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We enjoyed our conversations with the owner and felt welcomed as if we were lifelong residents of the town. The local diner's ambiance is unmistakable, with the regulars clearing their own tables and saying “see you tomorrow”. I love that!
We extend our best wishes to the owner for future success and hope she accomplishes her goal of traveling to Texas with her grandmother. CHEERS!🍻😉
