I’ve driven by this spot numerous times and have almost always seen a line. My husband and I stopped by and got some cheeseburgers, chicken burgers, fries and a shake. The customer service was great and they had our food ready surprisingly quick. (We went through the drive through and they had us park). The food was good but not amazing in our opinion. They had a lot of fun and large ice cream options which might be more of the draw for this cute little local spot. Overall I’d recommend you check them out and enjoy a nice local meal.

The ice cream at Eastwind Drive-In is great, but the customer service needs serious improvement. The girl with thick glasses completely ignored my request for help, and when I asked a second time, she responded in a rude and obnoxious tone. Staff training in basic courtesy and professionalism would make the experience much better.

Our first visit, not the last as really enjoyed the food.
Had seen a 5 year old video of Oregonian reporters doing the Waterfalls corridor, stopping for milkshakes and ice cream at the ice cream cone sign. Searched and found this, so been waiting to try this place. Took 15 minutes waiting to order in drive-thru as it was a holiday weekend, queue inside seemed longer. But order taker was friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Got our ice creams and shakes first at window. Then were told to park in a waiting area arpjbd the corner and got order in another 10 mins. Ordered a chicken burger recommended by him, was fresh, tasted different from commercial fast food. Chicken strips/ tenders and fish & chips were crunchy, fresh and perfect. They gave extra ketchup, sauces and paper napkins. No plastic bag but we managed at a picnic table near Starvation creek. Will definitely recommend this place. We didn't end up taking proper clear photos but will try and add after editing out people

pretty good food, kinda over priced as it attracts a lot of tourists but thats to be expected, granted if theyre busy (which they always are) staff gets sort of hostile and theyre decently slow

What a gem of a place. Small town joint at it's best. Management was the best ever. He taught my son a great lesson. And my boys loved their 9am ice cream with no line. This is a must stop in Cascade Locks!

This place used to be the go-to place when you went to Cascade Locks for a hamburger and a shake. Management has changed and so has the food. The manager was not very friendly and I could get a better hamburger at McDonalds. The milkshake was horrible too. All the flavoring sank to the bottom, not at all mixed into the shake. This is so sad because it used to be a great place to stock on your way through the Gorge. I won't be back!
