Would rate their customer service less than 1 star if possible... We drove 2 hours for their ice cream - a relatively new family tradition we started with our two children - to find they closed 15 minutes early. I can understand no longer serving food a little early, but we only wanted ice cream. I stood at the window, hoping for an answer or SOMETHING, and the employees pretended like they couldn't even see me. If I were in charge, I would be *mortified* over the terrible customer service and apparent laziness. I'm just so sad because my husband used to love this place, but after they just outright wasted our time and gas, and THEN just let me stand there like an idiot while they're still supposed to be open for 15 minutes? He never wants to even come back now. :'(

Old school drive up / drive thru burger spot with fresh ingredients and solid flavor that sparks your memory of hearty independent burger joints of decades past. Well prepared comfort food and delicious ice cream makes this destination a must when driving thru Cascade Locks.
These reviews are either lying or people really like low quality food. I’m 95% sure that everything we had was made from frozen products. Burger patty had no flavor at all and the burger was swimming in globs of cheap cheese. Chicken tenders have the most bizarre coating. I’ve never seen anything like it. Super crunchy which I’m undecided if that’s good or bad and again 0 seasoning. Onion rings somehow had no onion flavor and no seasoning in the batter. Curly fries and the milkshake were the only things I’d get again but I wouldn’t even go out of my way for either of those. Service was good and friendly minus the fact that they don’t take discover cards which I should have taken as a sign we shouldn’t eat here.

My family and I love stopping at this place whenever we go out to the gorge. They have pretty quick service, but above all they have great food, shakes, and ice cream! With that said, if you go on a weekend or an otherwise busy day, expect to have some difficulty with parking or even getting in line. I highly recommend this place if you're near the area!
