“I adore Puck's they gave me such a treat just for being the top fan on FB, asking for nothing in return. Vilay (vee-lie) is the sweetest and very fun to talk to. I grew up with Puck's and am so fond of it so I am so excited to see it continue to grow and flourish with the new owners (the previous owners' daughter & husband). I'm so excited to see what they do with it and I hope to continue to have many more of the best donuts in the WORLD! I love their matcha donuts and can't wait to see what specials they have in the future! May I suggest doing biscuits & gravy again like your parents did? But I know the donuts are your specialty! “I remember when this place first opened at the Phoenix location, I was so stoked! We went here quite often in 2021 and now having moved back to the valley last year, one of the first places I went was here. Kids and I love the savory pastries and desserts. My kids have dairy and gluten allergies so I really appreciate a place where they can eat everything.~“

“Everything Heim bakery makes is exquisitely delicious! They are culinary Artists! As a person who never really developed a taste for pastries and baked goods in my 67 years of life, this bakery has entirely changed my perspective. I love everything they make. The first time in my life I ever tasted something so delicious that I did not want to swallow the bite was when I experienced the savory bread pudding with caramelized onions that I had warmed up for brunch. Oh my goodness! I wish that moment could've lasted forever, it was the peak delicious experience of my life!“

“Cream filled Maple… AMAZING! Tried their raspberry-filled bite-sized donuts this morning… WOW!! Never going anywhere else! Pekara has the best donuts we have EVER had (saying a lot because, between our age and travel, we had dozens and dozens)! … if you are wanting a donut and in the area, go to Pekara… but beware… they’re dangerously delicious!“

“Delicious, tasty food served fast and friendly! Grab a muffin. Buy a scrumptious loaf of fresh baked bread. Get a cookie and a scone for later. Or a fresh made sandwich (for lunch a bit later). Take it from me you won’t find any better. (Get a hot drink, it is sweata-weatha!)“

“Absolutely scumpcious! Although the $1 cheese is really bad, the pretzels more than make up for it. I'd avoid the cheese cups they're tiny and taste badly. Don't get me wrong, pretzels are great, I'd also ask for fresh food, they will make it fresh if you ask.“

“Appears to be Hyperion Coffee House now, still has live music, the vibe seems largely the same. Came through to try out the banh mi or vegan ramen I saw listed but those appear to no longer be served. Staff was friendly, inside area was crowded and difficult to move around in comfortably but still a pleasant atmosphere.“

“This place is great and has some really good brownies and cookies. I absolutely love how they change flavors weekly so you can try many different new flavors, but there is definitely some favorites I absolutely love and I’m so excited when they come back for the week!! I can tell the workers work so hard to make sure there is enough product made, but I can only imagine how hard it is to keep up when they are selling out like crazy because of how busy they get! It’s not like you can cook things super fast unfortunately but they do their best! Thank you guys for being such a great dessert place. The only thing I wish is that they were a little cheaper because they are kind of expensive. Besides that they are great!!“
