“02/14/24. Hasn't changed, still the best from florence, reedsport, winchester bay and coosbay. The make a good ribeye for beef lovers great Australian lobster tail and escargo.May 2021. Had a dish called the Coquille.. OMG good.. Out of over 8,000 reviews I have possibly 10 resturants that have five stars. Well, I added this one today.First off, our waitress was Cheryl or Sheryl. She answered alot of questions about where the seafood comes from and gave her opinion of what she liked most. A couple I asked about she haden't tried but I wanted to know if they would make the shrimp with scallops and a white sauce rather than tomatoe base and she said yes.We had the captains platter, everything was delicious and so soft on flavor that we didnt use cocktail or tartar sauce. It was all tender and the scallops litterally melted in your mouth. I appreciated that it wasnt soaking in grease too.We had deepfried crab legs, a crab cocktail and clam chowder for starters. It was all delicious and the only thing I would have liked to have had was a little more flavor in the chowder. The clams were tender, flavorfull and not one bite of sand.We cant wait to go back and have Australian lobster tail when they have it and the afforementioned custom dish. It is a bit pricey but worth every dime. If Long Johns is your idea of seafood you will change your mind if you eat here.I update my reviews as I go back and review other dishes or the ones Ive had before looking for consistantcy so check them again. Rate them if you would. I like to hear that I am helping people and making them happy.“

“OMG what a treasure trove!!!! I had heard how great it was but hadn't been yet.... Well we'll definitely be back!!! Food was so fresh and delicious, surroundings so gorgeous, and people so friendly!!! The garden in back was lovely too!!“

“Parking is at a minimum and so is seating, this is a small restaurant, but in my opinion will worth it.The service is quick and frendly, I was surprised at how quickly our food was served, and it was hot, unlike another restaurant we have gone to.My husband had hot chocolate, French toast and bacon, I had the Popeye omelet with toast, hash browns and tea. All this was $10.00 less than our other restaurant.We definitely recommend Stockpot restaurant, and we will be going back.Parking: Our first time and with our truck parking can be difficult, this restaurant is an old A&W an has 2 driveways the day we were their (Wednesday) the second driveway offered more. But once you are in the only way to go is to park or go back to the main street and come around again. The restaurant and the food is worth the slight inconvenience.“

“Smoking as always! I have to laugh. I told one of the help that I had a complaint.She said, "Okay, and braced herself for bad news. I told her that it was hard to go to McDonald's when I smelled Vinnies come into the parking lot. Now they are only good for drinks.I think she was taken back and laughed! What a relief was on her face. That caused me to laugh.“

“The service, staff and atmosphere here is phenomenal.We had our daughters birthday party in the covered patio in the back. It's fully enclosed and has an awesome HVAC system, we were all very comfortable, while the weather outside was rain and hail.We received the best service that I have ever experienced at any restaurant/venue in Coos County.If you're having an event and looking for a clean, new venue that can handle a crowd, look no further.Also, our entire party agreed that the Back Alley has the best pizza on the Southern Oregon Coast. Try it for yourself!!“

“The service was outstanding from the moment we walked into the busy pub with almost all the tables filled and the air filled with the sounds of conversation and music. This pub feels like a local pub. It is eclectic. From the anti-prohibition posters to the small dragon statue, The Beatles poster, the old Apple computer, Star Wars memorabilia and the well stocked bar. The service continued through ordering drinks, appetizers and the meal, and until we left. The food was high quality, visually appealing, smelled good, with generous proportions and was delicious. I will not hesitate return often.“

“If you like oysters, don’t pass by the opportunity to try the fried oysters here, if they are in season. Absolutely spectacular. The fig stout had enough residual sugar to be disagreeable to my palate. The nearby Tesla Supercharger was a great convenience.“

“Five stars for an excellent experience - from the time we were greeted by Andre to the starter who accompanied us to the tee box to explain the lay of the land and suggestions to how to play some holes. Each hole offered its own challenges and how best to approach the green. We got lost several times trying to figure out where some of the holes were and everyone was so helpful in redirecting us to the right hole. The facility is dated - a diamond in the rough, one that I can easily overlook while improvements are being made. I'm sure in its hey day it was an awesome club. Reasonable green fees, challenging course and superior staff. Extra point for the cat! You guys are doing it right.“

“Traveling throughout Coos Bay to the Sand Dunes we love trying restaurants out of the tourist areas. This spot is as local as you can get, located 100 feet from the major seafood processors you can't get it any fresher. They have Cod, Oysters, Scallops, Calamari Rings, Shrimp, etc. Everything was great, Fried of Course, quick service and food. Ambience is of a rustic diner on the docks.“
