“Our server Matt was also the cook & bartender, he did an amazing job, thank you Matt! We both had ordered a salad, a cob salad & salmon salad, both very good & satisfying. We also had bloody marys for an afternoon cocktail & they were also very good, satisfying & consistent. We aren't local to the area & randomly decided to stop at Colvins for lunch back in September 2024 out for a street bike ride. Very welcoming environment & it's worth stopping by Colvins for a meal, cocktail or check out their really cool custom tables they have. We'll definitely stop by anytime we're in the area, & again, thanks Matt!”

“The Clatskanie Subway is, to put it simply, the epitome of the dining experience. As soon as I entered the gleaming glass door way, I was immediately greeted by a wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread, and fresh organic vegetables. The staff were truly of the utmost quality, as if they had been trained at a fine French bistrot. I ordered my favorite, of course, the meatball marinara. My sandwich was expertly handcrafted from the ground up as it elegantly made it's way down past the assortments of high quality meats, imported cheeses, and locally grown grown organic produce. At the end of my meatball marinara's journey, it was carefully wrapped, and tucked away into a cleverly designed insulating apparatus. Al though it would have been a pleasure to dine at this subway, and be serenaded by one of the staffs euphonious a cappella performances, I had instead decided that evening to enjoy my meatball marinara sub in the comforts of my cottage, sitting next to my fireplace, whilst reading a classic novel. I would recommend the Clatskanie Subway whole-heartedly to even the most hawkish critics. An absolute "Must do," in my book. You would be doing yourself a disservice to overlook this exquisite establishment.”
