So Long to the Captian!!! :-(((. Very disappointed that one of my favorite places to hear live music and cut a rug when I am in town is going away for good.
This is a dive bar that has really good beer on top and the food is really good. Surprisingly went in afternoon. It was super slow. There's like three people there and I got the this sandwich that was phenomenal. I got the Reuben.
Surprising place! Not what you expect from a bar with a restaurant but this one is excellent. Iced tea is made fresh, as are the huge chicken fried steaks. Mushrooms are.grilled.to perfection and the service was also very good. Breakfast served until 11am, lunch all day. Lots of activities available like live music as well as 2 pool tables and a shuffleboard. A hidden gem.
