Absolutely excellent shrimp curry. One of my favorite places to go in Coos Bay.
I have nothing but good things to say!
This is my first time in to EZ Thai since moving to North Bend a year ago. I glanced over the menu online and thought the crispy basil chicken sounded intriguing.
I placed the order and the staff was really friendly over the phone. The order only took 15 minutes and it was piping hot and ready when I got there on time. The staff was great throughout the transaction.
When I got home all the way across town and opened the box, it smelled amazing! It tasted even better than it smelled. It came with rice. I plated it up and added arugula from my fridge for some bitter greens. I paired it with their Thai tea and I will 100% be back. Also, it was really really clean in there! I cook for a living and by my judgement a great place to eat 10/10
It is very good food
Food is delish. Service is outstanding. Highly recommend!
Food was pretty good. Thai tea was perfect. The curry was a little more like soup which means the small portion of rice they give you doesn’t go a long way. Pad Se Ew was decent though the veggies weren’t cooked all the way through. Would come back to try something else probably!
The curry is great
Literally the best Thai food in town. Their Thai tea tastes really good, and their pad Thai is authentic too! Wish they sold tea in bulk! Can’t get enough!
Love their green curry soup!!
Fast, friendly service!!
Most of their menu can be vegan. Have eaten there multiple times and never a bad meal
A great meal with reasonable prices

Best Thai food around! The restraunt can be chilly in the winter though. Bring a hoodie!

Whether you’re driving along Route 101 or lucky enough to be in Coos Bay, if you're craving some good Thai food, this place is a must-visit. We tried the pineapple fried rice, Thai chicken basil, fried tofu, and guichai (crispy garlic chive), and every bite was spot on. The flavors were authentic, and everything tasted so fresh—we only wish we had room to try more.
The prices are super reasonable, especially for how good the food is, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. It’s family-owned, and you can tell they care about both their food and their customers. The food service is very fast, but keep in mind that the kitchen team is small and family-operated, so if the dining room is full, there might be a bit of a wait, but absolutely worth it because they put so much care into every dish.
Also, a note on the spice levels: if you’re not used to authentic Thai heat, be careful! Medium spicy is already pretty spicy for most people, and ordering the highest level is really only for those who know they can handle serious spice (probably Thai-level spicy). Don’t overestimate your tolerance, or you might end up wasting some really great food. We’ll definitely be back to try more, and we highly recommend sticking around to enjoy everything this place has to offer!
Kid-friendliness: There are a couple of kid friendly items on the menu

What a difference a few years can make. Once a very good and consistent place to eat and now I can’t seem to get relief from the pain and nausea of eating something bad.
I used to recommend this place, but no more. My friend and I ate here over the weekend and both of us got sick. I don’t know what dish caused it because we shared plates, but we won’t be back. I’m really disappointed, it was one of the last remaining good spots for food in town.
