Grocery store bread is awful when you are accustomed to fresh chewy sourdough with a nice crunchy crust.The bread at Empire Bakery is the first I have had in years of road trips through the USA and Canada that has made me smile.It is clear these guys love making bread. Best focaccia bread I have had. Cookies and sourdough are also very good. Prices are reasonable. Only a couple of parking spots and they are angled to make you feel like you're driving the wrong way in the parking lot. If you want your pick be there at 1 because the bread is so good that restaurants get it shortly after baking.
