Best Halibut I’ve had in a while. Fresh caught, never farmed. Lightly breaded so it didn’t feel heavy. Best clam chowder I’ve had in a while (for a great price too!) The baskets are pricey but worth it. Definitely go once if you never have. The experience on a boat kind of restaurant is cool too,

We ordered fish and chips and clam chowder as they were highly rated in reviews, but we found them to be lacking. The chowder was more of a ham dumpling; I guess ham rhymes with clam. I did find the (singular) clam near the bottom. The fish and chips were only OK.
The outside seating was extremely hot as they did not remove the plastic “windows” to let the nice breeze pass through. We had to change to take-out and sit in the gazebo area above.

The food here was absolutely delicious! The fish and chips were cooked perfectly, and the clam chowder in a sourdough bowl was fantastic. The service was incredibly fast and friendly. It is located right on a floating dock, which offered a beautiful view of the bay and made the atmosphere so much fun with the great background music. Highly recommend!

We went to Fisherman’s seafood market restaurant in Coos Bay OR it was the best fish I have tasted in a long time. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. We will be returning to this restaurant again. We were a party of 4 plus my service animal. If you decide to go here the address is 200 S Bayshore dr. Coos Bay OR. 97420. You won’t be disappointed.

Set on a floating dock in the marina this is a great casual seafood place
The clam chowder is excellent and the fish and chip was very good.
My only gripe is the raisins in the the otherwise good slaw.
Great friendly staff and the dining area was neat and clean
Highly recommended

The husband and I got take out on 11/14/2025 and as always it was great. We both had 1/2 fish & 1/2 prawns. We also got the last bit of their smoked salmon, so good. You rock, keep up the good work.

Touring up the Pacific Coast and stopped in Coos Bay for a day. Spotted this place while we were walking on the boardwalk. Really quiet on a lovely, sunny Sunday afternoon but lovely, friendly and quick service- we had the seafood basket and sat out in the floating seating area.

Excellent fresh and tasty fish and chips at a good price point.

Worth the wait. Finally, made it to Fishermen’s Seafood after a couple of previous attempts when the place was packed to the gills, no seats on the dock, just the scent of fresh fish and the sound of happy diners. This time, luck was on our side, and it was everything we’d hoped for.
From the quirky little signs that give the place its charm to the generous portions and genuinely friendly staff, it felt like a coastal gem tucked into our own backyard. We ordered the fish and chips and a bowl of chowder, both were spot-on. Crispy, golden, and comforting in all the right ways.
Highly recommend if you're craving a laid-back, satisfying seafood lunch. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully with a seat on the dock again.
