I hate giving a bad review and before I do, I read many of the good reviews for fear of having missed something. I did not. The wonderful service was absent that day. The person at the counter was cold at best even rude when I took the initiative to clean up my table and just pointed where she wanted the stuff without any expression of appreciation. I should have left everything on the table. The cinnamon roll I ordered was very much substandard. Dry and I do not know what they consider homemade, but it felt a lot like premade doe stuffed in an oven. The avocado toast tasted ok but was very small and the coffee was nothing to write home about. I am glad that all these people had a great experience there, my wife and I did not and will not go back.

Stopped here during our West Coast road trip — big mistake. We ordered a simple avocado toast, grilled cheese, and London Fog to go. It took 50 minutes to get our food (there were only two customers ahead of us), and my “simple” avocado toast came fully loaded with toppings I didn’t want. I had to scrape it all off — lucky I’m not allergic.
The food tasted fine, but no dish is worth nearly an hour’s wait on a slow day, especially when it’s not made as ordered. This is not a good stop for takeout, lunch breaks, or road trips. Only come if you’re ready to spend hours here and risk getting whatever the kitchen feels like making.

First of all, coffee and in-house bagels were top quality! We were passing thru on a 101 road-trip and this place was very convenient.
Secondly, this place had VIBES! From the staff, to the local art, to books on the shelves. I could’ve spent hours here if I wasn’t on a schedule. Reminds me of my hometown coffee shop in Springfield, MO.

I have been absolutely LOVING the oat milk brown sugar cinnamon latte that Ive been grabbing on farmers market days. The espresso isn't too strong, the latte is perfectly creamy and the brown sugar cinnamon is divinely mixed. What's great is my drink is fairly consistent every week, even when its made by a different barista. Goodness you can count on is key!
