Blue Heron Bistro is a beautiful, authentic German restaurant featuring German dishes, BBQ!, and seafood. The food is amazing and so fresh. Great service and great food is hard to beat. Guests enjoyed the Jagerschnitzel, which was hot and very savory with the mushroom sauce, and the Sauerbraten and a b-52 coffee, both absolutely delicious. The Oktoberfest, with all the meat dishes, was cooked perfectly. The shrimp scampi was amazing. The venue is decorated to resemble a German setting. Their homemade desserts are amazing too, with a cake display that is hard to ignore. The honey lemon cake was to die for, and the snickers and lemon cherry poppyseed cake (gluten free) were absolutely delicious. This establishment prefers cash. If the bill is $35 cash, guests get a free slice of any cake. Overall, it is an 11/10 experience with a lovely atmosphere.
