My companions really enjoyed their meals, mine was good but not amazing. Server was a little rude, bluntly demanding 'what?!' when he didn't understand a request, but was otherwise attentive and friendly. Place is very loud so if you're looking for a quiet place to eat, go when the students aren't in town
Decided to try WiseCracks for brunch on Sunday. I had not been to the old Burtons for years and I had heard they renovated the building. I loved the quirky decor and it was very inviting. We did not have to wait long for a table. Our server was friendly and was at our table in a timely manner. The coffee was served in a fun mug and was great. The menu has a wide selection. I love posting good food reviews to new places I tried, but this place was disappointing. We were seated right away and food came out super quick.. I’m talking in less than 5 minutes. The omelette was actually decent and enjoyable, but the chicken and waffles was one of the worst things I’ve ever had . For starters the there was no flavor to the waffle or the chicken for that matter, was completely over battered, and to top it all off, the chicken was not even cooked through...
