“I've gone here multiple times and every time the food has been fresh, delicious and has good portions for the prices. I personally am not a fan of many Chinese restaurants but this one stands out. I definitely would recommend it to anyone! Family friendly and the server is kind and extremely respectful. 10/10“

“First time there and I am definitely going back soon! Curry chicken was hearty and delicious, rice super fluffy, Mongolian beef was spicy and perfect, crab puffs so good I burnt my mouth the 2nd time on purpose, and the egg rolls were so flavorful!! I will be going back to try as much other things as I can! ^_^“

“I have been eating at Shaghai Wok every week since 2020. This is the best Chinese restaurant! Kevin runs this place by himself, and I definitely recommend talking to him and getting to know him. The fried rice is amazing and you should definitely try some of the more authentic Shanghai food from the non-Americanized menu. There are lots of vegetarian options too! My favorite is the hot-braised tofu!“

“Great service, I always order food to go late at night, and the girl who works is the sweetest. They serve a lot of great vegetarian options. There are few places you can get vegetarian Bao and this one of them. My go to dish is the king pao tofu, no bell peppers, and they are accommodating for preferences like this.“

“Delicious hot pot, cannot recommend this place enough. The space is a little smaller so seating is limited, if you’re going at a busy time ordering to go is a great option. Menu has Customizable hot pot or you can order from a list of existing recipes. I’ll definitely be back.“

“I live in Salem but if I'm in Corvallis I will make a point of eating here. The atmosphere is very nice and the b.ooths are comfortable. The dishes have a lot of flavor and are a very good size. The roast duck is some of the best I've ever had, I really like the egg foo young, and there's plenty of meat in the special fried rice. This is the top notch Chinese restaurant and the prices are about the same as ordinary Chinese restaurants“

“If you need to grab a quick lunch while inside the Oregon state university campus, then this is the place to reach out. There are a few entree options served with rice and chow mein. The salads are of decent quality, and of course worth the money spent. I usually get a bowl or plate which normally costs less than $10.“

“The food was wonderful, and the service was very good.
We ordered the shrimp, beef, chicken sizzler, and the honey walnut shrimp off their specialtymenu.
It came with a choice of fried rice or white rice, and both were very good.
The coffee was excellent. We were told they grind it at the restaurant.
I would highly recommend this restaurant“

“8/4/2021 Best Chinese food in the valley hands down! We pickup a take-out order 3-4 times per month, sometimes more. HOWEVER, they seem to be slipping a little bit lately. The sweet n sour chicken was rock hard, literally crunchy. My Wife was shocked as it’s always good. Everyplace has an off day, hopefully this was a one time thing. Warning! Apparently they only add soy sauce in the “to-go” bags if you specifically ask for it. Bizarre! Who doesn’t use soy sauce on Chinese food. We love Queens Chopsticks. By far the best we’ve found in Corvallis/Philomath. Highly recommend. A little spendy, but worth every penny…most of time.“

“I’ve noticed that if a guy is in front of me in line, and he orders the exact same thing as I do, his portions are larger, I’m a female. So why is this? Is it a gender thing, or a *favorite customer* sort of thing?“

“This is the small Chinese restaurant hidden inside the HK Market. Go through the market, and go through the door at the back.
I've lived and traveled all over Asia and and had great Chinese meals in many places. This place is as good as almost anything I've had. It's authentic fresh Hong Kong-style cuisine. The menu is large and interesting, and the food packs a lot of flavor without syrup or glop. Water Boiled Fish was spicy and potent. Steamed Buns were well-packed with tasty filling. Fermented Cabbage was hot and flavorful.
Don't go for the ambience (cheap chairs on small tables) -- it's all about the food.“
