A basic American-Mexican menu. The salsa/chips/bean dip they bring out first are high quality (though they are stingy on the salsa/dip.) My favorite is the mole, it's a sweeter than average mole but has great flavor. The rice is perfectly cooked and has little bits of carrot which is a nice touch. The drinks are good. Everything is just really satisfying. We've always had very nice service too, and it's fast. The only thing I don't like is that the lighting...
My favorite Mexican restaurant in Oregon. I recently got back from Mexico City and think I prefer El Palenque here than many of the places I ate there. If you need more spice, ask for the habanero sauce!
