Compliments to the chef. Knew how to cook, especially eggs over medium (last several restaurants overcooked them) However apparently everything had been sitting awhile as was just barely warm when waitress served them. Otherwise great!!!!!

Luis the owner of Elmer's here in Corvallis is very generous and works with many non-profits in the area. His staff and service are very welcoming along with their food. We love holding our Chamber of commerce meetings there and eating a delicious breakfast.

The guy at their front desk informed me that they will not do to go orders on weekends until after 2:00. I had a sick mom at home and she really likes this one thing from Elmer’s. I offered to sit at a table and order , tip, etc., and put her food in a leftovers container. That’s when the guy accused me of trying to bypass the rules. I guess I was, but the guy was unkind and condescending; he made me pretty mad. I will be finding a new “mom’s favorite place.”

Really bad experience. I went to get my sick mom her favorite thing from Elmer's, only to be told they don't do take out until after 2:00. No exceptions. I offered to sit at a table, tip, etc. and put the food in a leftovers container myself. To this, the gentleman at their desk accused me of trying to get around the rules. Which I was, I guess. It was his demeaning attitude and lack of kindness that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I will be finding a new "mom's favorite thing" somewhere else.
