Customer service and atmosphere here is excellent- HOWEVER, if you're below retirement age this isn't really the spot for you. The food tastes like it's intended for a retirement home, because the clientele are primarily a much older crowd. The food just has no flavor. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just incredibly bland.
The wait staff members are fantastic they actually remember your food preferences and bring you the special coffee creamer. Food is consistently good and plated nicely. Atmosphere is family friendly. Restrooms are clean. There is adequate parking and adjacent parking.
Wife and I came in between lunch and dinner and it was pretty dead. Got aeated very quickly by a very cheerful server who in fact happened to be our server. I ordered the flat iron steak which melted in my mouth. Very moist. Clam chowder was a tad oniony but very good. Restaurant very clean and clean bathrooms. Great atmosphere as well. We will definitely be coming back to Elmer's when we visit Corvallis!
