I stopped at the hotel across the street last night after 6 days on the road. I was tired, hungry, and grumpy. I then ate dinner at El Patron and emerged happier, heavier, and totally satisfied. No kidding. I had enchiladas verdes with pork, which were delicious, as were the side dishes of rice, refried beans, salad, chips, and salsa. Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Other diners looked happy too. This place deserves all the stars I can give it.

Came early evening on Sunday and was sat immediately. Seated with chips, salsa, bean dip and water as soon as we got there which was amazing and super good. The portions are humongous and both me and my husband could not finished our food and had to take some home. Food came quickly, was super hot and fresh, tasted amazing! Best Mexican food in the area. I’ve had over a dozen places and this is by far the best. We will be back

I recently visited El Patrón in Corvallis after graduation party of 30 and the service and food was really good! Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in town! 10 out of 10 for me!

Paid $40 for a marg with verry little to no alcohol - appreciate the waiter for bringing a shot to share in the other 4 margs we ordered. Beans and rice with 2 teq shots. $40. Music didn’t play until 11:30 and I have a hard time justifying paying that much for that experience.

What a great place to enjoy some food, friends and the employees were extra attentive! The food was with the price and the drinks are strong! 😄 Music was a little too loud which made it hard to chat with people around you.

I can't express here in a few comments what a great experience dining here was, but I will try. First off, walking in we got the old town mexico feeling with the decor, next we were greeted and kindly shown options for seating. Next our waiter, son number 3 I believe, was pleasant and knowledgeable of anything we asked. He was intentive to our needs the entire meal. I got the fajitas which came on a sizzling skillet..yummy! The tortillas were great and the beans as well. I liked the chips and salsa and the avocado salsa was something I've never seen at a Mexican restaurant. My friends food was exceptional too. They finished ever last bite. We had the pleasure of seeing someone celebrating their birthday and the staff gave a little parade and song for them. fun fun!! The best part of the time there was the owner coming over to greet us, ask if all was good, and chat a bit from our silly questions. He also checked in towards the end of our meal. Friendly man knowledgeable, and very charismatic and charming. His boys are as well and all work there as the waiters. Any place would pay big bucks for costumer service as wonderful as theirs. ONE OF THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD JOINTS I'VE BEEN TOO. Can't wait to drive back through from California to stop again. Until then, gracious amigos!
