Great little family owned Mexican restaurant on 9th St. In Corvallis. We had excellent and authentic machete, and the Saturday special Barbacoa y consomme. The barbacoa was made with goat meat and was traditionally prepared. The family, longtime Corvallis residents, is transitioning from a food truck specializing in tamales to brick and mortar. This is the same people who ran Santiago's Food Truck in South town. Food is Excellent!! U won't be disappointed! We were glad to see they had opened their own restaurant. Homemade food, tortillas, Chile rellanos, pico sauce, along with daily specials. Decent sized portions and not overpriced. My husband thinks their Chile Verde is the BEST. I live the tostados and rellanos. We're hooked! Try it, you'll come back for sure.
Excellent food but it seems like they're having a hard time keeping enough food the kitchen because a lot of times items aren't available. Also their prices are high for a deli style environment.
