Good food, nice wait staff, but the atmosphere and decor really needs help! UPDATE: I have been to the Corvallis Shari's 3x in the past 8 weeks. The first time (on a Saturday AM) was really good - Kimberly did an excellent job. The 2nd time, weekday, the lunch supplies were missing a couple of items, but we made due, but then when I came in today, Tuesday, for lunch they didn't have the hollandaise sauce, but they had country gravy. You could order the Duo Combo, which was fried onion rings and chicken "nuggets" (rather large) But they didn't have any ranch dressing. So it was frustrating to order - especially if you arrived with your taste buds expecting a certain item they happened to be out of. They only had a choice of 5 pies. The waitress we had was really good, we were just not happy w the lack of items, plus it was like a ghost town, there was only 3 ppl including us, eating at 1 pm. Sad - it looks like they didn't pay their food acct so nothing came until they did pay, and now they have to wait for it to be shipped. OR they're close to shutting down. I hear the one in Salem on Commercial already looks closed - weeds all grown.

I do not know what's going on with this restaurant chain. I read that they had been bought out by another company. Some other Washington locations have shut down. They've been struggling since COVID. All businesses have been struggling since COVID. Our supplies have went up and our clients have went down because their paychecks have stayed in line with the inflation. I have always liked Shari's but I have been to a few of them lately that just don't have everything that they offer on their menu, their menu is shrunk in size, and sometimes they can cook what you want and sometimes they can't. I do hope this restaurant makes a comeback.

The signature bacon cheese burger was extremely over cooked. The patty was crunchy... Philly French dip was also very dry... Men's room was nasty. Urinal backed up on to floor. Toilet had feces on it as well as toilet brush. Waiter was very good and sympathetic. No discount on food quality.

The only reason this review isn’t 1 stars across the board is our server Jeff. Bless him he is trying. Hustling, friendly, and doing his best but that doesn’t make up for the absolute terrible chef in the back.
I ordered the Northwest Steak salad which is supposed to come with Lettuce, tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, grilled red onions, and pecans. It also comes with garlic toast.
When mine came out it had lettuce steak and pecans. Missing over half of what was supposed to be on it. I asked for the missing items and was given the tiniest amount of tomatoes. Couldn’t have been more than one single slice of tomato diced up. Not even a quarter of a tomato. I got 4 slices of onions, not grilled. The blue cheese crumbles were at least a generous portion.
The toast was barely buttered had no garlic, was cold and stale. The steak was overcooked and flavorless.
I don’t expect much from Shari’s but this was easily the worst Iv ever seen from a Shari’s. If I had been alone and not with a group I’d have left without eating or paying after seeing my corrected salad.
Additionally it took an exceedingly long time to get our food. I will never come back and will actively recommend against this location if someone I know ever mentions going here. Management if you are reading this promote Jeff and fire your chef who was working 7/21/24 between 2-4PM

I tried to get a hold of this Shari’s all day for a pie order. Voicemail all day. Disappointed and frustrated. Their pies are typically very good but if I can’t reach anyone, I can’t order. Please fix this!
The food was delicious, however the short hispanic lady was very disrespectful because right when she was about to take our order i hesitated for 1 second and she told us "how about i come back when you have thought about it" then she walked away even though I had already known what I wanted. I am 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I was a crying mess. So yeah her services were rude and unwanted.

The folks working there had fabulous customer service and very nice to interact with. The restaurant, however, looks like it's falling apart and felt grungy. The food was rather oily and bland and we didn't finish our food. We didn't have a horrible experience but it wasn't great and we won't be back.
