Great leasing staff. I was given a comprehensive tour and felt very confident about my options. Even though I chose not to live there.
Definitely book a room ASAP! The location is great, the staff is amazingly nice, there is free coffee in the office and more!!! My time at the GEM was great, I met a ton of nice people and am sad I had to move. The price may be a bit high, but that's with ALL utilities, AC/heating, laundry facilities and a gym downstairs and because of how close it is to campus. I highly recommend a room at the GEM!

The Gem offers full apartments with private bathrooms and kitchens, although there is no dishwasher. Rent is inclusive of utilities and includes access to Xfinity on Campus. Amenities like free laundry and a gym are provided, and the location is convenient for getting to class. However, noise isolation could be better, and fire drills occur frequently. The building lacks the friendliness of a traditional dorm but provides privacy for those who prefer it. Parking requires an OSU RA pass, which comes at an additional cost. Some apartments may not have full-size fridges. Despite some drawbacks, many recommend living at The Gem for its overall convenience and amenities.
