On my previous visits, service was passable, but last week, despite a nearly empty restaurant, we waited an hour for our food. I typically tip based on service quality, which was lacking, yet the staff took a larger tip than I authorized on the receipt. Disappointing experience.

The food is absolutely amazing. This is my favorite place in Corvallis absolutely hands down to get sushi. That being said the service is absolutely horrible here. Typically the service is bad and very slow and all the food comes out at once instead of laying appetizers and then entree. Me and my partner came on Valentine’s Day, we had no expectations knowing the service is typically slow and coupling it with the fact that it was a nice date place. We waited 30 minutes before being acknowledged by anyone. When we got sat we sat there for literally ONE HOUR before I had to flag a waitress down. And it was not just us, there was 7 other groups in our section waiting for one. One of them left after 45 minutes. After finally taking our order it took another 20 minutes to get a miso soup (which I’m sure is pre prepared). After we got our appetizers after an hour and 40 minutes we noticed that 3 tables who had gotten there significantly after us had already been given their food and paid the bill! And after a brief look around nearly everyone who got there after us had already eaten. It seemed like due to an overflow of guests they put us where the hibachi should be and completely forgot about everyone they sat there for 2 hours. Me and my partner both work in the restaurant business and this was absolutely unacceptable. At the very least they should have not kept seating people when others had been sitting there for an hour without drinks. Sushi was bomb tho, get the crab Rangoons.

Loved it!! The atmosphere is a little dated, and the exterior of the building could use some TLC, but oh my goodness this food was great. Some great sushi and the steak in the bento box was so good! We also got the Chicken Udon and that was very good, with very generous portions as well. Definitely going to come here again!!

One of my favorite sushi spots in Corvallis. It can get pretty busy, but the servers are always kind and the food is always delicious.

The food and service here is typically good, although it can be a bit pricey compared to similar places. The Beaver roll here is an amazing calorie bomb which will visit you in your dreams in a good way. The main downside of coming here is that the whole place just smells off in a way that's similar to an old ball pit for kids that's been peed in one too many times for it to ever get fully clean.

Service and food were excellent. If you enjoy sushi bar it pretty much doesn't exist. Only 3 seats available sushi case is blocked from view. Dishes and supplies stacked where seating existed in the past. Looking for a new sushi bar where we can enjoy the experience.

Food was okay and service was bad. We ordered appetizers but they ended up burning them saying she forgot them while we were the only three people in the restaurant. Then keep waiting for us to leave as they stared.

My son and I went to the restaurant with reasonably high expectations. We were served by an older server who is very unfriendly. She brought my sons main course first a few minutes later she brought the appetizers. Then more than 15 minutes later after I asked multiple times where my main course was, she brought it out heavily overcooked steak. I explain to her that it was unacceptably chard and all she wanted to do was have a sweet another 20 minutes to get another meal cooked. No apology she completely expected us to be OK with how things were unfolding. I was not. Food was below average. Service was unfriendly and slow. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Their spider roll has the fake crab in it. No soft shell crab. Disappointing.

Service was outstanding. I walked in with no reservation as I just checked into my hotel room two blocks away. I looked up a few places to eat and didn't even see this place till I turned the corner. Took a shot. I didn't even wait 30 seconds, I was seated, and started browsing the menu. I was hungry and had sushi, a chicken teriyaki plate which came with soup and salad. I saw another patron having a seaweed salad, it looked good so I ordered one as well. Food was really good. Tasty, great flavor, cooked to perfection and filling!!! I plan on coming here again if I'm in the area for work! My waiter made sure my glass was always filled, never called him over to get a re-fill. Great place to eat and relax. If you are staying in a hotel within walking distance, perfect to walk off dinner on your way back to your room.
