“What an unexpected treat to find this place perfectly situated between Portland & Medford, which makes for a convenient halfway lunch stop. The fresh baked goods in the case we're tempting, but I was set on lunch. I ordered the Reuben, and wow, it was the best I have ever had! The bread was grilled on cheese which gave it a nice crunch. All the ingredients were nicely balanced, and the sandwich was served standing on its side which prevented a soggy disappointment. Perfection!”

“I’ve been coming here for 25 years. The food is tasty, good salsas, very nice staff. We have others in The Grove and I’ve tried them all but this is the place I keep coming back to. I particularly like their chorizo and eggs.”

“Chalerm Thai Cuisine is one of my absolute favorite places to eat. My mom and I come here regularly, and every single dish I’ve had has been amazing—consistently delicious and well prepared.

The customer service is truly outstanding. The staff is extremely attentive and genuinely kind. They even make fresh rolls on the spot for us when we ask, even though they’re time-consuming to prepare and usually only make a limited number each day. That level of care really stands out.

They’re always welcoming, often give my mom complimentary tea, and create a warm, friendly environment that makes you want to come back again and again.

We’ll definitely be loyal customers for a long time. Highly recommended.”

“Great food !! Will definitely be goin back. Chips were warm with alittle salt the salsa was best! and they give you a refried bean dip the best I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant dinner was great, and they gave a huge fried icecream with chocolate and strawberry sauce on it for birthdays.”

“We got a couple dishes. The yellow curry and the pad Thai. Both were INCREDIBLE! I got a call from there shortly after we left with our Togo order saying they noticed they made a mistake. They asked if we could come back for the correct order. I honestly have never had a restaurant call me when a mistake was made. Usually you have to call and ask for the correction. I appreciate that very much! Over all 5/5! You won’t regret it!”

“A wonky lil casino of sorts in this strip mall. Gaming machines, supposedly they have some foods like hotdogs, (but haven't seen nor tried them), scratch tickets and great priced cigarettes.Friendly staff.”

“My service dog was not allowed to enter. It’s against Oregon law to not allow a service dog in. When someone had a disability they need the service animal.
Service animals are trained not to get into food or bother people .

“I went with a group and tried a little bit of everything! The crab ragoons were crunchy on the outside, creamy and hot on the inside. The pineapple chicken was my favorite as it was just the right amount of spicy, and I got a bite of pineapple in every bite. We shared a family sized dinner between 4 people. We ended up going home with 4 boxes FILLED with food after stuffing ourselves to the brim. The service was average, and the atmosphere was lackluster, though I paid little attention to either because of the food that fulfilled every craving I had for good chinese food.”

“Oh my goodness, ain't was so impressed with Aylah! I have been to multiple fast food places--the main chains. None of them would do a lettuce wrap and at best gave me the essentials in a box that I would need to grease my fingers to eat.

I came into Carl's after a couple of years being here before. I am desperately following the Atkins diet and our circumstances called for a quick lunch. I prepared for the above experience.

When I asked for no bun, Aylah spoke up immediately and asked it I wanted that lettuce wrapped! I was floored and wanted to hug her. With excitement, I even ordered a second sandwich--lettuce wrapped.

You've definitely won a consistent customer. Great job and invite, Aylah! You made my whole day. 😀
