Went to Crater Lake National Park. Started at the Rim Village which is still open at the moment. We had soup & chili as it was quite cold today- both were very good. I thought the souvenirs were quite pricy (t-shirts, hats). Unfortunately the items I found didn't have the size, guessing due to end of their season. Amazing park & Lake. This shop has a dining room on the second floor of the building. You can order food on the first floor and bring it up to the dining room to eat. From the dining room, you can enjoy a direct view of Crater Lake. There are also several informative boards and a model of Crater Lake in the dining room. I highly recommend visiting this shop.
Came here in early September 2024. Unfortunately the atmosphere was filled with haze/smoke from surrounding fires. The gift shop area had some nice souvenirs available. The food options were standard - good but nothing extra special. There's a second floor in the gift shop building that has a nice cozy area to eat and lounge around. Nobody was there during this trip. I think it may be more popular during winter. The restrooms are in a separate building and are simple but...
