“Wow, awesome experience. Our only complaint was not finding this restaurant 18 months ago when it opened. Wait staff was excellent, the kind who remembered your order and never wrote down a single item. Sommelier was very helpful. Home made pasta dishes were the best in the city hands down, and to top it all off, price point was very good ! We felt at home in the rustic Italian atmosphere and were very impressed with selections. Will be returning very soon. Highly recommend, 5 out of 5.“

“The food was fantastic! I had the waffles and they were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The lemon curd and whipped cream were perfect! Other people had the BBQ sandwich, couscous salad and tomato soup and everyone was happy. Only thing is they forgot a salad we ordered. And even though we told them right after we got our food, they didn't seem to expedite it ahead of other orders. We ended up finishing all our food and waiting for 15-20mins after eating. In the end, we had to leave without it bcz it was taking so long. Of course, they removed it from the bill, but it was annoying that it took so long and we ended up getting something from Taco Bell to get that person something to eat. That being said, food was fantastic and so I still say 5 stars. Hopefully that was an exceptional mixup.“

“This is my new favorite restaurant! I have a dairy allergy and almost cried when I realized that I could actually order biscuits and gravy, french toast, and even nachos off of their regular menu. If you have a special dietary need, tell them and the staff is so understanding. They have amazing vegan pastries. The vegan chocolate croissants are to die for! I live two hours away, but will return to Eugene again and again to try everything on their menu.“

Today I came for the free SNAP meal, as I work long hours for low pay in the music industry as a single dad supporting my daughter, and the loss is significant. “This is one of my favorite dinner spots! I super love the ginger goji berry tea served in the winter. I also love the beef noodle soup with sauerkraut here. I also love the chili oil dumplings and cucumber salad here. If there's any complaint, it's not much but we often have to wait a long time for our food - most of the dishes are served but there's always a dish ...... that isn't served.“

With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“

“I love this restaurant. I've been going here for years. I always recommend it to people that are looking for a great locally owned gem, have just moved here or are visiting. I love the authentic Italian food. And the building is a very cool older house with a great feel to it. I think its very romantic and a nice place to treat yourself/loved ones. Its privately owned by 2 Italian gentleman. Hence the name. Sometimes they will be at the restaurant and are very friendly and fun to talk to. I highly recommend.“

“We went two nights in a row during the Northwest Tandem Rally. First night we were 10 and Logan was a pro - patient with answering our questions and giving us separate checks. Every person loved what they ordered from salad to rice and beans to the poblano (so good) to salmon. The next night we were 14 and service was JUST as good and the food was excellent again - sweet potato fries were so tasty (I had steak - perfectly cooked). Price was great and alcohol was really reasonably priced! ($30 for a bottle of white) Highly highly recommend if you find yourself in Cottage Grove.“

I asked for a full pizza and owner was incredibly chill and kind in processing my late night dinner. Reasonable cost for size of pizza came to $30, the pizza was huge and without asking he delivered it to me to my car. The taste was absolutely incredible, even my spouse couldn't get over how good it was. Was going to post a photo, but we ate it 1st. It was that good. This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends.
