We had a 5 course meal for a birthday celebration and the service was very attentive and professional while each course was more unbelievably delicious than the last one. The ambience is quiet and romantic and the experience of eating the various mushroom specialties is well worth it. There is also a 12 course meal offered (nothing a la carte) which we could not have handled but certainly is tempting to go back and try.
We did the full "Oregon omakase" 10-course tasting menu, with glasses of wine. The food was wonderful, and I don't say that lightly. Service was highly knowledgable, and both attentive and light touch. Yes, it's pricey. But it's also a memorable dining experience for a full evening. We were there for more than three hours, and I expect we will be talking about aspects of the meal and the wines for a long time to come.
One word. Perfect. Seriously, this place has the food, wine, and service dialed in perfectly. If you want to be treated to an exceptional meal with exceptional service, get a table here!
