The Life on the Oregon Coast FB Group was correct about eating at Burger 101 in Lincoln City or Depot Bay. We tried this hole-in-the-wall burger place in Depot Bay and were amazed at the service, burger, and fries. We travel the country in an RV and are in the search of the best cheeseburger. We have to say that Burger 101 is rated Very Good and in the top 10 burgers we've tried. We even purchased their secret sauce and seasoning.
It was busy, but the wait time wasn't bad. Everything made hot and fresh after ordering. We got the grilled cheese combo ($6), strawberry milkshake ($7), 101 ($10) and 202 ($11). The 202 was absolutely worth the extra dollar as the bun and condiments of the 101 made the meat underwhelming. The fries and fry sauce were generous and delicious. Great little hole in the wall Burger joint, we usually go to the Lincoln City one and prefer it for the decent amount of seating. This one has only 4 tiny tables for 2 and their exhaust must have issues, we were just in there for 15min, but smell like part of the kitchen (clothes, hair everything). The burgers are great though and service was friendly.
