Back in March I stayed in Depoe bay for a restful getaway with my partner. The beef chowmein cost around 23 dollars. The meat tasted and smelled foul. My partner didn’t smell anything so I thought maybe it was me. (Should’ve sent that food back)Until he woke up the next morning and could smell it from the fridge. I’m a cook myself and I can tell you right now that who ever made that was fully aware of the meats condition. That is disgusting. You have people coming into your establishment to eat and you serve them rotten food? You should be shut down.

Open late and best pricing we have seen on the coast, bartender was very sweet lady, if the locals weren’t wasted and harassing both us and the lady we would have stayed longer, also wing wa translates to flourish and thrive and I really hope this place does

Didn't think it was gonna b this great but was amazing food and service was great as well. Never had this style of brussel sprouts but a muuuuust have to go with any of your selections!!!!!

I was staying in Depot Bay for just one night. Had a great dinner at Gracie's Sea Hag Restaurant and asked the bartender there if there was an after hours place that the locals frequent. She told me Wing Wa. Especially on the weekends when they have karaoke, apparently it's the place to go... So of course, I had to go check it out. This is definitely the place that the locals end up... at least on the Saturday night that I was there. Sat down at the bar counter and I ordered a local craft beer and the sliced pork appetizer. Both were delicious 👍🏼 I stayed and spoke a bit with Mae, the co-owner who was bartending, as well as some other staff members and regular patrons that gave accolades to the business, the family, and what this place meant to them as a function of the Depoe Bay Community. So after hanging out for an extra hour in this restaurant/bar/karaoke bar business, I realized that Wing Wa Taphouse was very much appreciated by both the staff & patrons of this place.
Bottom Line: 9.2 out of 10 for quality of food and fun atmosphere. Could use some improvements with beer selection perhaps and I thought the place could use an interior design change to make it more appealing & functional.

We mainly had apps but they were delicious. Excellent pot stickers! The karaoke game here was awesome! Locals and visitors as well with some quality singers. The staff are great, CJ kicks out some great cocktails and the Mae, the owner couldn't be friendlier. We'll be back!!!
Needed a late night snack, this place was the only place open. We go in and im thinking ,MAN I hope the food is good. $28 for the Wang WA pan fried noodles....SO WORTH IT! Great flavor and nice portions. JC at the bar was nice and quick, Tim the cook hit the spot with them noodles.

Who knew that this funky little place would turn out some of the best Chinese fare I have ever had? The potstickers are made in-house, steamed first and then fried, just like they should be. The shrimp egg roll had a unique batter that made me nervous initially and wound up to be insanely delicious. Big chunks of actual prawns inside! JC was my bartender who never missed a beat with his service all while he was fielding phone calls and many other customers. Don’t be fooled by judging this book by its cover! It’s an absolute treat!!

The white short guy at the counter has the worst customer service skills ever very rude and should not have a job dealing with customers will never go there again and will let everybody know how rude this guy is. Get him out of there
