Sweet Lew’s Chicago Deep Dish serves really good deep dish pizza with authentic deep dish and conscious ingredients. The absolutely killer sauce and homemade pizza sauce are slow cooked for about 10 hours. The crust is perfect, sauce to die for, and overall presentation magnificent. The pizza is fresh, flavorful, and really well done. A tasty chilli oil is provided to put on the pizza. The Chicago sausage deep dish is a popular choice, and a free cookie with excellent local chocolate is offered. The people working here are very nice and friendly, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. It is a little pricey, but those pizzas are pretty thick; 2-3 slices is enough for most adults, so one pizza would serve 2-3. The restaurant only has a short bar counter for seating while waiting, so it is better to order take out or door dash. Local meats from Long's, local beers, and New York style slices with about 4 options are also available. This is seriously the best pizza in Eugene.
