This place is quite unique and I'm assuming people who are from Eugene probably take it for granted. It is one of the few places I've seen in the USA that has dance music every week, even on weekdays, and sometimes multiple times a week. You can usually only find that kind of atmosphere in large cities of 1+ million people. The bartenders, DJs, and sick atmosphere make this place a rare gem.

My favorite place to play video lottery downtown. they open earliest (11am), and they have a cool pinball machine and a pool table. I never go here at night but it's super chill in the morning and I'm usually the only one in there so all the machines are open.

I've been going to Cowfish for almost 4 years now and it's hands down my favorite bar - not only in Eugene, but in Oregon, and I'm from Portland. This bar actually cares about making sure people are safe, both physically and emotionally, so they can actually have a good time. Even when I come alone, I make new friends! Drinks are always awesome, made by the best bartenders, bouncers care about safety but with kindness, and over the years I've become friends with literally everyone. Love the decor, the spacious dance floor, and the variety of themed events every day of the week! This is the inclusive and fun-loving kind of bar every town needs.

My best friend wanted to drop in and take a look around. We hadn't eaten all day. At the recommendation of Bartender Maggie, he ordered the broccoli cheese soup. Me? I always ask what offerings are homemade. Maggie said all the soups are made in house by the owner. I waited to sample my besties soup--/ it was the best broccoli cheese soup we have ever had. Simply delicious. Maybe just a tad on the thin side, but I will take that all day long over gloppy overly-thick soup. We had a great time-- and everyone is welcoming and friendly. Next visit? I'm ordering the French Onion Lentil Soup. And that will be SOON!
Fun night out. Glamazons was AMAZING! Service was SO slow even on a not so busy night.

I love the interior of this place. Vinyl and chandeliers hang from the ceiling. It's got a great seating venue and small but sufficient dance and performing space. There's art on the walls. The only thing I'd say is the sound system could be better for music. I love it, though, for its uniqueness .. I'm going back.

I have always preferred cow fish, but not anymore. Last night was mine and my groups last time. I ordered my first drink of the night, a beer from the busy bar. As the bartender set my beer down the crowed behind me was rambunctious and a girl (who I don’t even know) knocked it over before I ever touched my beer. The bartender said “I have to charge you for another if you want one, drinks spill”I thought that was so rude and not a good look for cowfish. That one beer has cost a group that regularly gives cow fish business. Would never go back with out that beer replaced and better empathy from the bartender tbhCow fish, please have a talk with employees on how to treat customers decently. Especially ones who are regulars. I’m saddened when this could have been an easy fix but now there’s bad blood
